Good atmosphere Drinks expensive Food ok but again expensive for the portion sizes. 3 of us dined and the portion sizes did not take that jnto account. For example the lamb skewers you got 2 and the chicken thighs you got 2 . The staff were very friendly and helpful

The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallThis is a fantastic venue. The staff are amazing and extremely friendly, and the location is beautiful with wonderful views across Rossendale Valley. Inside, it's all really cosy and comfortable with plenty of space between tables The food is absolutely stunning. I live in Manchester but happily travel half an hour to get here. The pies in particular are outstanding, it's probably the best cheese pie I've ever had and the beef and stilton pie was incredible. If they made these pies in boxes to take away I'd buy a dozen and freeze them! The plastters are wonderful too, as a sharing starter they're absolutely perfect and some really creative and unusual dishes. Absolutely 5 stars all the way.

Would definitely recommend, we have already booked for the Christmas set meal and have invited friends to enjoy it with us.
