Went for dinner with my husband on the Sunday evening - no Sunday roast dinner left - note to self - go earlier for a roast dinner ! . Lovely decor and atmosphere - staff friendly and attentive. I had the fish and chips - lovely - not greasy and a decent size portion - hubby had the meat pie - asked for more gravy - and he got a big jug , he said it was lovely and tasty. Will definitely visit again - thank you.

Only one criticism was with the selection of cured meats, which came with a very measly two pieces of bread which was terribly insufficient for the amount of salami etc. The meatballs were delicious, and came in a lovely sauce, but again had to ask for more bread as I wanted to soak up that delicious meatball sauce. I will definitely be revisiting, but I'll make sure in advance about the bread. Lol.

We ordered our drinks and it came quick enough, it took a bit of time to order our food but we were talking so not a problem. The food arrived in good time and was gorgeous. We will be back soon
