An absolute gem of a place to eat, talk, drink and be happy. The food is always excellently made, presented, served and tastes great. A great atmosphere and very professional staff adds to the Cicchetti experience.

Once again a delicious meal at A'vucciria. We went on easter Monday with friends. The place was jam packed. Despite this the service was excellent as always, the staff are very friendly and accommodating even when they are flat out. Delicious food, my brother particularly loves the spare ribs in smokey BBQ sauce. I have a constant craving for their seafood whether its their chargrilled octopus, huge garlic prawns or juicy oysters natural. This time we tried a few different dishes, lamb kebabs with yoghurt sauce, chic pea fritters and a crunchy green bean dish topped with gooey melting cheese. I love how its served tapas style but the portions are much larger than usual tapas. We had dessert for a change. An enormous cannoli filled with sweet ricotta, pistachios, orange zest and choc chips. It was delicious. I honestly dont have a bad word to say about this restaurant and I eat put locally a couple of times a week.

This was by far the best pub lunch I’ve had. We went on a busy Easter Monday but the service was still flawless and the food really delicious. Fresh, homemade with lots of flavour and a great choice of specials. The pub itself had a lovely layout and we had a great cosy spot by the fire. Highly recommend visiting. In the summer I am sure it will be beautiful to sit outside with the views over the valley.

Great meal, good service and really enjoyed everything. A little rushed as they're very busy ( for very good reason) requiring tables for new customers. Fully understand why this should be the case. All restaurants have to maximise their financial return these days and I wish Whitchaff well in this. They deserve to succeed.

We had a very enjoyable Sunday afternoon meal at the Whitchaff yesterday. The staff were really well informed as to the meals and couldn't have done more to make us feel at home and comfortable. My steak and stilton pie was so good, rich, tasty, and very satisfying. My wife said her lamb special was the tastiest she had had very a long while and really well cooked. The afternoon was so good I have already booked to return at the end of the month with a number of friends. well done to everyone involved, looking forward to our return.

What a lovely pub great refurbishment the food was simply lovely great staff good vibe defo be back

Food was brilliant, beer was cold, service was brilliant from the young ladies and gentlemen. Only issue was I did pre plan a birthday with them to be told there wasn’t cake or candles by the manager - fortunately a young lad behind the bar stepped in and took care of this for me and organised something with the waitresses- special thanks to him.

Love the food here, always excellent and a stylish place to drink, all good wines and service is excellent , been loads and will continue, to do the same

My favourite restaurant, went here recently with my daughter. Food was absolutely delicious as per usual. Already looking forward to returning.

Amazing food. Great friendly staff. The staff recommended ewhat we should order and it was perfect. Very accomodating staff. Beautiful building and great vibe on a Friday evening.

Lovely food and service.

The food and service are top class and friendly. The renovation is really cosy and high end but still feels like a local place to chill out. Portion sizes are pretty huge so we swerved the pudding list on our Anniversary lunch.
