Could not fault the food at all, hot good sized portion and very tasty. Staff friendly and polite. Atmosphere welcoming and relaxing. Will definitely be coming back soon.

Absolutely amazing! Everything was delicious, I highly recommend the swordfish and croquettes. Wash it all down with a few espresso martinis, delightful. The staff are extremely pleasant and helpful, I can't wait to go back.

We have visited here a couple of times now since the refurbishment and its been great. The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is nice and the team are great. Value for money, great specials, can't complain! We will be back soon!

We choose The Whitchaff for a close family meal to celebrate my mum's 60th birthday, the food was lovely. Service started off good but by the end of the meal it felt like we had just been forgotten about. They brought us a dessert menu but never came to take our order. So my partner got up and went to ask for the bill and we left. We found the room extremely hot, we had to take turns going outside with our newborn baby due to it being so hot. It could of benefit with some air con or windows open. It got very loud the more people that got seated for their meals so was difficult to have a conversation. The decor of the place has been tastefully done and very comfy seating

Always a warm welcome. Food was amazing (I never expect anything other). We opt'ed for various dishes off the menu, ranging from breads, swordfish, lamb meatballs, arancini, croquettes and many more ... carrots were delicious! Service is always perfect. The wine is well priced. So be sure to grab yourself a bottle to accompany your food. The food, the service and the atmosphere makes this value for money. Be sure to call in and experience it :)

First time I have been in since the refurbishment and have to say it looks fantastic. We went for lunch. I had the fish pie which was the nicest one I've ever eaten!! My partner chose a burger and said his was delicious. Staff were lovely and will definitely be going back.

Came for lunch with my daughter and granddaughter who treated me for my birthday. Service was top notch and the food was fantastic!! Will definitely be back with my husband

Unfortunately we were disappointed due to such slow service. We have always had fantastic meals and service, hopefully just a one off. Maybe staff should be allocated to look after certain areas/tables?
