Disappointed that we could not eat in the restaurant part because nobody answered the phone at 5.05 pm when I rang on 2 occassions. Very noisy because of lack of soft furnishings to absorb the noise and had to shout to each other. Staff on numerous occassions came to take our plates away even though we had not finished. Over the 50 years I have been going to the Whitchaff I found this lacking charactor and would probably not return for a while.

Lovely food, cheap craft ale and speedy service (if not too quick - asked for our drinks order before we’d even sat down!) Highly recommended and will definitely be heading back.

We were recommended to come here by friends and having been to numerous restaurants and pubs for food before, I have to say this place is one of the best! I will be coming back.

There was 8 of us dining & all of us had a different meal all of which were very nice the staff were friendly the service great & meals were all lovely will definitely be back

Good food good service , polite staff

Made a reservation for a lunch, I have seen excellent reviews and wanted to try this venue. I had invited guest so I was hoping that this would be a suitable location. Well, I was not disappointed. Menu was interesting with plenty of choice, service was outstanding, polite and efficient without being interruptive. When the food arrived it was beautifully presented, piping hot and tasted superb. Ingredients were of a good quality and the whole table was extremely satisfied. Restaurant was extremely clean and well looked after with ample space. I could not ask for a better place to visit, i will definitely be back for more of this place. Well done to the staff and the chef! And well done management.

I wasn't disappointed, delicious home cooked food and desserts and good size portions too, our food came piping hot and in good time . Great menu with plenty of choices for all taste. Staff were very pleasant and very accommodating. Lovely place, beautiful views at the rear outside dining area. Highly recommend.

Consistently good! No, consistently brilliant!! A'Vucciria is so nice, it brings nice vibe, culture and fantastic quality food to the Rossendale Valley. I've had the steak about 5 times now and its just the same every time, it's cooked to perfection. A great selection of wines to chose from, a great atmosphere and a great team. We loved watching the son of the owner prepping all the charcuterie boards and sharing boards, slicing the meat on the old fashioned slicer. It was like being in Sicily for a moment. The other thing is , the portions are a really good size, sometimes the small sharing dishes are quite skinny on the portions, not here though. I want to go back already! They've created a little bit of magic in the heart of Rawtenstall.

Excellent eatery great service

We visited Friday lunchtime. Staff friendly and welcoming. Great atmosphere, food was excellent. Looking forward to our next visit.

Nice early tea. Greeted well . Service was good . Food was excellent and well presented. Great choice on the menu. New refurbishment really brings it to life.

Very nice, cosy pub restaurant with friendly & efficient team of staff. We all enjoyed our food, particularly tempura prawn starter, steak special (with roasted veg, rice and crayfish sauce) and the mushroom penne pasta. Good to see vegetarian and plant based menus, as well as a varied main menu and specials.
