Staff very friendly

Was at the Golden Lion for a meal with my friend. The food was excellent and the waitress who served us was very friendly and helpful. I liked listening to the piano in the background and the price was good too. Will definitely be back.

Couldn’t fault the food , piano player very good but a little loud , staff were very friendly, although service was quite slow, when asked for the bill they brought someone else’s, then on our bill extra juices were added that we didn’t have . We did enjoy our evening and will return again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent meal at Cafe Fish. It was difficult to decide what to choose from the menu but we both agreed we had made excellent choices - everything was delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful too. We hope to return one day but in the meantime will be recommending Cafe Fish to anyone we know who is going to Tobermory.

My husband daughter and myself come a lot for our lunch . Yesterday we came on the 25th March . I had fish & chips to my disappointment I didn’t enjoy it the fish was nearly all thick batter and the chips was just a few wasn’t happy at all with my lunch it wasn’t the full portion

Everyone in our party of 5 thoroughly enjoyed their food. Two of us chose from the lunch menu, but the others chose from the main one. The staff are lovely - friendly and efficient - and we will definitely be back. Highly recommended by us all.

Service was good waitress very friendly. Tea or ordinary coffee was offered, I came last year for high tea and was offered latte or cappuccino coffee, was not offered a top up of our tea this time. Scone, jam and cream was lovely and the cakes were nice but the sandwiches which we were not told what the fillings were I’m sorry to say were not very nice, to much pickle on one, I think it was coronation chicken on one but there was no chicken, egg mayonnaise had to much mayo.

Great service, food at a great and generally a nice place to eat.

Had a lovely afternoon tea yesterday already planning my next one

Very pleased with last Saturday's afternoon tea at Ravelston House. Lovely food, excellent service even though it was extremely busy. I would go again!

We celebrated my mum’s 90th birthday at the Ravelston. It was such a great venue, the afternoon tea was delicious and service was excellent. We all had such a lovely day. Thank you to all the staff for helping to make this a special day for my mum.

As always, the food, atmosphere and staff were excellent! We keep coming back!

Visited for afternoon tea with my partner. The service was fantastic, friendly and professional staff. Food was first class and fresh. We topped it off with a bottle of wine which we continued to enjoy in the bar. I look forward to revisiting sometime soon and recommend the venue to all.

Cheerful and excellent service

Great meal, as always, at Ravelston House. Staff are really friendly & helpful. Restaurant was very busy with it being Mother’s Day, but the food was high quality as usual & service fab.

My husband ordered a Sunday dinner which was very poor very few veg it and assortment of veg it was just 2 stems broccoli, and 4 tiny roast potatoes. My steak pie was lovely and both puddings were very nice . Staff were lovely but we waited half an hour to get our food.

Warm and friendly staff. Very obliging. Enjoyed our food, very tasty and good sized portions.
