Cafe Fish – Argyll and ButeWe had a wonderful evening here. I am, to my shame, not a fish or seafood eater, but I had a wonderful chicken dish, and there are steak alternatives too. Everyone else was in ecstasies over the seafood! The service was excellent, very friendly and efficient and the puddings were delicious. Thoroughly recommended.
Cafe Fish – Argyll and ButeThis is a little gem. There is a great choice of fresh seafood, which is beautifully cooked. The relaxed style makes the experience authentic and enjoyable. Alongside the food they have a great wine list. A must if you are visiting Tobermory. The only downside is that you need to have cash, or be prepared to do a bank transfer.
Cafe Fish – Argyll and ButeWon’t be back. Had booked a table in lounge. Had to physically move the table as seat behind was too close so member of our party couldn’t get in. On bringing our meal to table waiter dropped one dinner. No mention to our table but two of us witnessed. Two dinners served while the other two waited. No explanation or apology. First two finished…still no explanation or apology.
The Golden Lion Hotel – StirlingFirst class food and service
Cafe Fish – Argyll and ButeIncredible place, the food is as top quality and fresh as it gets. We had the Caviar to start, the Cafe Fish Roast Shellfish platter but with the oysters raw and a great bottle of Picpoul de Pinet to match. Everything cooked and served perfectly. The service was spot on, attentive but never over baring. The ambience refined but comfortably casual. I couldn't reccomend it enough.
Cafe Fish – Argyll and ButeExcellentissime ! Turbot cuit à la perfection, coquilles saint jacques idem avec une sauce à se damner! Si j'habitais à côté, j'irais très régulièrement . En plus nous avons eu une table avec une vie incroyable et un service attentif et souriant. Le bonheur
Cafe Fish – Argyll and ButeWe thoroughly enjoyed our fishy feast!
Cafe Fish – Argyll and ButeExcellent. Cafe Fish est un restaurant qui mérite le détour (mais il faut réserver). Poissons et crustacés excellents et très bien cuisinés. Personnel sympathique. Cadre agréable. A recommander.
Cafe Fish – Argyll and ButeWe had a great meal in cafe fish. Service was excellent, view scenic and food delicious.
Cafe Fish – Argyll and ButeThis was one of the best fish dining experiences I’ve ever had.
Cafe Fish – Argyll and ButeWonderful meal and great service too. Warm and welcoming a lovely atmosphere.
Cafe Fish – Argyll and ButeCafe Fish is my favourite restaurant. I've never had a meal which I didn't love. My recent meal was no different. I had a seafood platter and my husband grilled fish. Delicious. Staff are lovely. Always friendly and welcoming.
Cafe Fish – Argyll and ButeI've eaten at the Cafe Fish five times and always found the food, service and ambiance second to none. Excellent value for money
Cafe Fish – Argyll and ButeLast at Cafe Fish over 10 years ago when I was very impressed. Now living on Mull and found it to still be truly excellent. The freshest fish imaginatively and perfectly cooked in a relaxed cafe environment with top notch staff. Long may it last !
Cafe Fish – Argyll and ButeCafe Fish was recommended to me on a podcast of all things (shout out to Answer Me This) and we finally visited Tobermory over the last couple of days. I've been looking forward to eating at Cafe Fish for months (and i don't even particularly like fish!). Cafe Fish was amazing - absolutely delicious, amazing service, and a fantastic variety of options. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. If you're not super-keen on seafood there's lots of mild (and even not-fish) options, and the staff I'm sure would give excellent suggestions too. As an added bonus, I plucked up the courage to try mussels for the first time after always thinking I'd hate them, and it turns out I fecking love them. Even had them for breakfast in Oban this morning. Thank you for expanding my palate, Cafe Fish!
Cafe Fish – Argyll and ButeReally impressed with the meal and service we had at the Cronies Bar and restaurant yesterday. There were five of us and the service couldn't have been better, the young women who served us were so friendly, so nice and accommodating. I really wanted a salad which wasn't on the menu and they asked the chef and I got a freshly made Chicken Caesar salad, which was a very generous plateful for a small plate, so many thanks to the chef. A friend got a chicken Mediterranean salad also not on the menu and similarly generous plateful. We weren't rushed and sat on having coffee after the meal. Friends who had soup and two had goujons were also very pleased with the food, well presented and very nice they said. We've been before because it's a convenient location but I would say the food has really improved. We'll be back, thanks to everyone who made our visit so enjoyable.
