Group of 7 for lunch, food very good service good, nice busy atmosphere, enjoyed our afternoon, we will be back.

Our visit on 15th September was the first in some months, there was a distinct sense of a different atmosphere. Our group of 4, had coffee, it transpired that there were no sugar dishes available. After coffee, we moved to the restaurant for lunch, that table was somewhat cramped, when it came to the meal being served the process was quite disjointed, meals for two appeared, after a short wait a third came to the table. The fourth was considerably later ,quite embarrassing. The steak pie contained rather less meat than at previous visits and the potato and vegetables also reduced. There was a different presentation of this dish ,which looked somewhat more fashionable, but having the above consequences. Style before function might describe it. So ,in general ,rather disappointing when compared with earlier visits.

My husband and I had the most amazing dinner here, such a cute lovely little restaurant with the most incredible seafood, so fresh, yummy and perfect place for a dinner in Tobermory! If you are staying in Mull then this is a must do for your visit - book in advance as it gets busy quickly! Thank you for a wonderful meal!

I was looking so forward to dinner at Fish Cafe! I was not disappointed! My Cullen Skink and Coquille St. Jacques were outstanding. Great wee spot for delicious seafood! Thanks for a memorable meal.

Truly delightful experience. All the seafood was incredibly fresh, delicious, and prepared in clever ways we hadn’t had before. The seafood stroganoff was incredible: creamy and light at the same time, with SO much variety of seafood in it, and excellent whole grain rice.

Another fantastic meal in cafe fish. Brilliant selection of fresh fish on specials board as always and cooked to perfection.

We ate at Cafe Fish last night to celebrate my husbands birthday. Everything was as we had hoped for - the food was absolutely amazing and the service and attention we received from Henry was exceptional. We can’t recommend this gem of a restaurant highly enough.

Fabulous meal at Cafe Fish. We had mussels, caviar, cod and sea bream. Best fish we had had in a long time. Staff are brilliant. Highly recommend.

5th year on a run and our 6th visit (twice in one week the other year). Always make point of coming here to celebrate our wedding anniversary it is without doubt our favourite restaurant. Relaxed friendly and welcoming along with amazing fresh, beautifully cooked seafood. Can’t recommend if enough.

Fabulous . A warm welcome , really great food , fast and friendly service . We really couldn’t have asked for more . If we are lucky enough to return to Mull we will be back .

Our first visit to this restaurant. We had pre booked a table for a meal after being at a show in the nearby King's Theatre. We were greeted and promptly seated. Drinks order was taken and then another lady (family member?) explained the menu. This is not your 'usual' UK chinese menu. It was explained that the dishes are inspired by the Xiang region of central China. The level of spice/heat in any of the dishes can be altered to suit your palate. We ordered three appetizers between 4 of us and that was more than enough. The main courses were also generous portions and delicious....ginger chicken x 2, kung pao chicken and a chilli chicken. Three dishes between the four of us would probably have been enough. Sides were fried rice x 2 and a portion of chips, again, portions were generous. Including five soft drinks, the total bill was £110. Well worth it for the taste sensations and level of service. The only downside we noticed was that the aircon was a bit fierce and, in addition to the restaurant door being left open, it was a bit cool for our liking. Also of note are the spotlessly clean toilets. We will be back!
