Excellent Sunday roast - great value for money and fast friendly service with a smile
Ravelston House – EdinburghRestaurant very quite. Home made minestrone soup was lovely and hot just as I like it. Chefs Spicy chicken curry was good but not enough chicken in the dish. Only 1 waitress serving but was very efficient and friendly.
Ravelston House – EdinburghExcellent service in nice relaxing atmosphere. Afternoon tea with a nice choice of food
Ravelston House – EdinburghWe loved it so much the first time that we went back two days later! Great service and great food and amazing views from inside or out. Everything we tried: scallops, halibut, trout, was delicious and beautifully presented. Only two suggestions: padding for the chairs and a larger selection of wines by the glass.
Cafe Fish – Argyll and ButeWhat a hidden gem! This restaurant was recommended to us and we weren’t disappointed! Incredible food, super friendly helpful and hospitable staff. Highly recommended
Cafe Fish – Argyll and ButeDo we really want to share just how good this is? Great atmosphere, music and service, really relaxed vibe. Lovely location. The food was fantastic and there was a huge range of specials on the board to choose from in addition to the menu. The best fish cookery ever. I would definitely come back again. Don’t risk being able to walk in, you do need to book. Just fix that front door please - so many customers were really challenged to be able to shut it properly, and it’s a bit draughty if you are seated next to it!
Cafe Fish – Argyll and ButeGood menu, tasty food and nicely served.
The Golden Lion Hotel – StirlingFood was nice but found it strange the sandwiches were different shapes. Coffee was not hot enough and trying to get top ups was difficult as staff was too busy serving alcohol
Ravelston House – EdinburghGreat food, Great service. The hotel was busy but the service was amazing. Looking forward to going back.
The Golden Lion Hotel – StirlingWe have had dinner at Café Fish on all our visits to Mull. Every aspect of the meal was excellent, especially the starter of scallops in a delicious sauce and the Café Fish stew
Cafe Fish – Argyll and ButeWe booked to eat at Cafe Fish on the recommendation of two different sets of friends who had eaten there and we were not disappointed. A relaxed cafe ambience with Michelin standard food. The menu is varied and imaginative and changes daily, the staff are friendly, well informed and efficient and the harbour location is superb, especially if you are lucky enough to get a table by the window. It was so good that we booked for two consecutive evenings.
Cafe Fish – Argyll and ButeCafe Fish is always our first go to when on holiday on the Isle of Mull, love it here, the food is so delicious and such friendly staff. We also booked a second visit in the week! The menu choices are so varied, enough to warrant a second visit if you’re in the area!!
Cafe Fish – Argyll and ButeTook a while to get the food was good ok asked for 2 roast beef dinners to be told they had sold out .. then a while later a table off 4 came in and they all had roast beef
Ravelston House – EdinburghWe had a delicious Sunday Roast Beef dinner. Couldn’t fault the food or the service. Both excellent.
Ravelston House – EdinburghWe had a lovely evening at the fish cafe - the staff were very friendly and attentive, the cafe was full of atmosphere and the goan fish curry we ate was absolutely delicious and beautifully cooked. This is the second time we have visited and certainly were not disappointed. A top class fish restaurant.
Cafe Fish – Argyll and ButeStaff all very friendly and helpful. Food was good enough. Soup home made and tasty. Cheap fibreless and tasteless White bread a poor offering really. The child’s meal was reasonable if a bit pricy for what it was. It was reasonable but not great meal.
Ravelston House – EdinburghWe had a wonderful meal at the refreshing Café Fish. Plenty of choice and a very varied specials board. I had the best scallops with Pancetta and parmesan I have tasted in a long time and the brill to follow. All beautifully cooked and we were thrilled with everything. Luckily we couldn't eat at our hotel that night due to the Music Festival or we would have missed one of the best meals of our Scotland Tour. We would certainly go back. How they turn out the food from a tiny kitchen perfectly cooked, I have no idea. Brilliantly done
Cafe Fish – Argyll and ButeBrilliant food Excellent service Unique location and views Not cheap but worth it!
