Amazing end to our trip to Tobermory - it's a must if you can get a table. Scallops were the highlight - will be thinking about them for a long time to come.

Highly recommend Cafe Fish. Service was friendly and attentive. Largest scallops I have ever been served and they were delicious. We also enjoyed the hummus appetizer and curry soup.

This place is a gem. As a seafood lover, the menu made it hard to choose. The service was excellent, everyone we spoke with were so friendly and kind. We requested a table with a view when we made the reservation months ago and they had the perfect corner table all ready for us. It’s a cute, friendly restaurant with delicious meals and an excellent Spotify playlist. We asked about it and now it’s our go to playlist as well. You must eat here.

Frequent visitor to Tobermory (16th visit this time) and always go to Cafe Fish. Never disappoints. Great choice of dishes, helpful, friendly service.

We had such a great meal at Cafe Fish which genuinely lived up to its reputation. Deciding what to order was the first challenge, but the seafood gratin was absolutely delicious — creamy, rich and packed with amazing, fresh seafood. We also had the langoustine, which was equally as good and perfectly cooked. What really made us smile was hearing a couple of other guests saying that it was the best meal they’d had on their whole trip, if not ever! We even heard other diners trying to book a table for the following night before they left — which says everything! We would have done the same if we were staying longer. It was definitely one of those meals that you remember long after you’ve finished eating. As well as the food, the atmosphere was lovely, welcoming, and unrushed, despite only being able to get an 8.30pm reservation - all accompanied by a really great music playlist! Trying to convince myself that it’s worth the trip back to Mull just for dinner at Cafe Fish! If you’re visiting Tobermory - it’s not to be missed!

My Aunty and I had a beautiful meal at the Golden Lion for my mother’s birthday. My mother Margaret Connell worked at the Golden Lion in the 1960’s when she was a young lady. It was a lovely afternoon, the hotel restaurant Cronies is beautiful and unspoiled. Thank you to all the wonderful staff who made our visit memorable. Elaine

We had a superb dining experience with a relaxed atmosphere and an impressive specials menu offering an abundance of choice. The service was genuinely welcoming, always polite and friendly. All three courses were perfectly cooked — Café Fish truly showcases fresh local produce at its very best, with a standard, quality and taste equal to any Michelin‑starred restaurant. The views over Tobermory are fantastic, adding to the whole experience. We couldn’t fault a single thing, and we’re already planning to return.

Absolutely loved Cafe Fish. Americans here and we travel all over the world as we are retired now. Sarah and I have not had fish, scallops, salmon, trout and these fish entrees anywhere else like we did at Cafe Fish. Absolutely wonderful food and atmosphere. Reservations are absolutely required and cash or bank transfer only. Don't forget that. We will definitely book a stay in Tobermory just to eat here again.

We had an exceptionally good meal here on monday night. We were last in at 8.30 but everything was still on the menu. Gravalax starter tasted delicious followed by Hake with celeriac mash and a black pudding crumb and a filled sole with fresh vegetables. All expertly cooked and beautifully flavoured. Best meal of the year in Scotland.

Went for lunch yesterday and food was lovely

I had dinner with three friends on Sunday evening. The food was excellent: so flavoursome and beautifully presented. We all rated our food 10/10. The service was highly efficient and professional and we enjoyed chatting with the waitresses who were all so pleasant and helpful.

The seafood was incredibly fresh and delicious. I ordered the signature grilled seafood platter; every item was tasty, and pairing it with a glass of red wine made for a truly enjoyable experience.

Greatly enjoyed our return visit. We have been a number of times before but came back with a friend who was visiting and she enjoyed it too Thank you for friendly and professional service, very good food and super view. I'm sure we will be back.
