This was my third visit to Cafe Fish which yet again was superb. The choice of fish and seafood is tremendous with both regular and daily special menus. I personally prefer cold lobster to their hot offerings; the waitress and chef willingly obliged and served the lobster with my choice of side salad, fresh bread and mayonnaise - all to perfection. For any person that enjoys fresh fish and seafood and appreciates quality I have not found a better establishment anywhere in Scotland. Well done and keep up the great work

Visited for the first time last night, couldn’t fault the food or the service. The range of specials was fantastic. Can recommend the scallops and the chocolate pot for dessert.

We had a fabulous lunch to celebrate my husband's birthday on Wednesday 23rd September. The staff were so helpful and welcoming. The food was so delicious. I had Mussels in a tomato and chilli sauce which was really lovely and not too spicy. Then my Spaghetti Vongole was the best I've ever tasted as the garlic and olive oil flavoured it beautifully. My dessert from my childhood of Double nougat with ice cream and raspberry sauce was the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. My husband and daughter had delicious food also. We enjoyed the casual atmosphere and friendly staff. It was just unfortunate that there was a large group of noisy people sitting behind us so we found it difficult to have a conversation ourselves.

We first discovered Cafe Fish in 2018, and the restaurant has always delivered a 5 star quality culinary experience, with the best fresh seafood specials in Scotland. We make reservations for dinner here at least three times when on a week-long holiday to Mull. The location, atmosphere and views are cool, and the service always very friendly. We just had a wonderful evening at Cafe Fish celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. Scallops are to die for, and we also enjoyed excellent sole, haddock and halibut.

We had our last meal of the holiday in Tobermory at CafeFish. Best meal of the week! The food was excellent, and the staff very friendly. I had sole, and my wife sea bass, cooked in a lovely caper butter sauce. Really nice desserts as well. Highly recommended!

First visit in too many years! Food was amazing. Arabiatta and Amatriciana were amazing. Homemade Tiramisu was out of this world. Staff were friendly and attentive and we definitely won’t leave it so long to come back again.

This past weekend I ate here 3 times. The first was really good. The second time I had a gluten free sandwich and the bread was so dry it was inedible I ended up picking the limited filing out - saving grace was that I’d ordered a side of chips and they were very nice. Then I had dinner with friends ordered the curry gluten free only to be served the chicken breaded which I only noticed after eating some of it. There was no initial offer to comp the meal but it came eventually and by the time a replacement had been served half the party were leaving so I ended up not eating. Very disappointing

Lovely restaurant. Really nicely decorated. Chilled atmosphere with friendly attentive staff. Food was delicious, ordered the prawn gyozas and pork bao buns. Really nice. Then had the king prawn kung pao with boiled rice, beef chow mein and a side of pak choi. Food was delicious, generous portion sizes and great value for money. Will definitely be back.

Monkfish rolled in ham special with cauliflower sauce etc. was brilliant and the berry pavlova special was absolutely delicious (although I couldn’t taste the whisky said to be in my chocolate pot). Our only regret is that it was our last night in Tobermory so we couldn’t enjoy another meal here before leaving. Definitely the best dinner of the week.

I ate at Cronies at the golden lion yesterday evening, the food was good and the service efficient. The piano player was a nice touch too. Overall a pleasant experience and good value for money.

Two of us had lunch during what was a very busy weekend for the hotel and the staff coped admirably. The soup was delicious although quite a small portion. My friend had a GF sandwich and found the bread very dry. Great chips, though, and we appreciated the care they took re everything being GF for my friend, even if the sandwich was a bit disappointing.

Great food, great service, would highly recommend, will be back again.

Absolutely incredible meal at Cafe Fish! My aunt and I both had the seafood gratin, the next morning we laughed that we'd both woken up thinking about how delicious it was. Lovely menu choices, the food was so fresh and a really nice atmosphere. A memorable meal during our stay on Mull
