Once again, a beautiful meal, and great service, I would give 5 out of 5 for all of it.

My 2 friends and I booked a table at 12pm on Thurs 6 April - we were the first diners who arrived in restaurant - and it was 12.45pm before we got our starter. We did notice that other diners who arrived after us were served before us! We did explain to a server that we were in a hurry and next 2 courses were a bit hurried. I do have to say the 3-course lunch was well worth it and very good value and was delicious. I am visiting the Ravelston in the next few weeks and hope the experience is more leisurely.

Went for lunch yesterday. Excellent food, large portions and super friendly dining room and bar staff. Very good value for money too. Will be back here again.

Had afternoon tea at the Ravelston, we arrived earlier than our booking time and were advised there would be a bit of a wait for food but we were happy to do so. We sat and had a coffee then by the time they were ready for us . Super friendly staff. Food was lovely, good selection of sandwiches and cakes Top class folks thanks.

Catch up with old friend at Golden Lion The dinning room is nicely decorated and the three of us enjoyed our meals , which were very tasty and well presented. The staff were all very friendly and attentive . Would recommend .

I too am a local resident and cannot praise the restaurant highly enough. All of the categories below deserve the highest marking. The main dish of Ox cheek was absolutely sumptuous. We are very lucky to have such a fine dining experience a short walk away. Very friendly service. The chef and owner even brought our main course to the table. Wish them every success for the forthcoming season.

Had a meal on Sat night , 4 adults. The food was amazing, best steak I’ve tasted in Glasgow for years . Great staff and great service.

Everything went accordingly to plan, the table was ready when we arrived and service was good. Would definitely recommend.
