Have met up with friends on two different occasions and both times had the High Tea. Great meals and excellent value. Planning our next one. We definitely recommend.

Excellent

Had a lovely meal last Saturday, both the Haggis Balls and the Mac and Cheese were delicious. The Braised Beef special was also tasty. We were well looked after by Thais, Kelsie and Toby. We will be back in the near future.

Over all i would say it was quite average experience. The steak and burger quality was good and the flavor was nice but nothing extra ordinary when compared to the price. Mushroom sauce was average and came at a cost. What really biased by review were the fries. They were soggy, greasy, not seasoned and the way they were sticking to each other it was obvious that were out of freezer. Quite disappointing for a steak restaurant.

Absolutely loved the atmosphere, reminded me of a place in New York. Staff super helpful and really engaging. I just felt its a bit pricy especially for pre-theatre when in this location there are so many restaurants to compete with, would you consider doing a set menu pre-theatre being so near the Kings Theatre you get a lot of bookings.

Beautiful meal. Lovely big succulent chicken in the chicken burger. My daughter & I like BBQ sauce with our burgers, so ordered this as an extra. Sauce came separate in a wee dish. Probably 3 dessert spoonfuls, I only used about 1 teaspoonful of sauce from the dish, as did my daughter. Was charged £2.25 for each sauce. So £5 in total for the 2 teaspoonfuls of sauce we used. I would suggest charging less & giving less sauce. I can't imagine anyone ever uses nearly all the sauce given. If we'd known we could even have ordered one sauce & shared it. It was enough for 3-4 people. Lovely restaurant & very helpful friendly staff. Also a fabulous tasty meal.

The waitress (Dee) was so welcoming and helpful. The food was 10 out of 10 ,piping hot and very tasty. The atmosphere in the restaurant was intimate. Also the background music was perfect not any of the loud dance music that so many places use these days.

Really delicious food, for a very reasonable price. The staff member workin was very friendly and helpful. Would recommend.

I love it here since Joel & his partner took over a while back and everytime I go in the staff are great as are the food & drinks selection. I was in again on Saturday evening and despite the place being busy, it took no time at all for our cocktails, it had a great atmosphere and the staff were a joy as always.

We have dined here 3 times and have never been disappointed. First class staff, food, and service. I would highly recommend it to others and will definitely be back.

Fabulous food and even more Fabulous staff. I've been twice this year travelling an hour just for the Mac and Cheese and the warm genuine staff. I can't recommend Cronies enough.

Went in for dinner before going to see a show. Service was great, food was lovely (big portions) reasonable priced and staff very friendly also. Will definitely be back.
