Food was amazing! Tasted great, hot and fresh. Atmosphere was lovely and restaurant was very clean and we had a great table. Service was okay- we felt a bit rushed at the end as were asked if we wanted to pay rather than look at desserts etc and were sort of forgotten about once seated and after about 5-10 minutes had to ask for menus.

We had a delicious meal here last evening. My husband’s lamb shoulder was succulent and tender, my aubergine was full of delicious flavors. We were well taken care of by the chef’s lovely mother who is managing the restaurant.

We really enjoyed our evening at Hamnavoe. The food was delicious and the service excellent. The venue needs an upgrade though - the toilet is horrible and the dining room could do with more upmarket decor.

Steak was nice ,diane sauce was nice onion rings were slightly burnt chips were just warm and under cooked need to get lessons on making food hot all just warm tried but would not come back .

Was here on Friday night for our anniversary meal. Food was outstanding, beautifully presented, was hot and tasted amazing. Biscoff cheesecake is high recommended Will definitely be back

Came in soaked to the skin and wanting a table for one! Incredible three course meal with beautiful wine and attentive service. Had fish for starter and main. Both absolutely melted. Wonderful pudding. Would like to see vegan options for when I bring my daughter here

We had an amazing meal in steak and cherry the food was outstanding and the service was excellent. Colin made sure we had everything we needed and we enjoyed his sense of humour too. We left and everyone agreed because of the service Colin provided we will definitely be back!

Couldn’t fault both the service and the quality of the meal. All three of us really enjoyed our choices off an imaginative and well thought through menu. My Cullen Skink was excellent and the Scallops starter was as good as I have had anywhere. The Veggie options were just as good. A great experience all round.

2nd time here and food was lovely again. The staff are lovely and friendly. I would just say again service very slow. We were sat for over 20mins before a drinks order was even taken. So if pre theatre and having more than 1 course book at least 2 hours before show time! Other than that, wine and dine at your leisure, I would recommend ❤

Great evening was had by all of our party of four. Three excellent courses with great wines to match. The food was very refined being well presented with sublime flavours. We can't wait for our next visit.

Had a lovely meal at the Golden Lion. Great decor, great service and a really inventive meal that was absolutely delicious. Haddock wrapped in salmon. Can wholly recommend this place in Stirling.

Had a fantastic family meal for my daughters birthday. Six of us visited. Sunday roast was amazing, four of us had the roast beef. Son had a fillet also fantastic. Service was great. No Complaints and will definitely visit again soon.

Food was lovely, very clean and nice and friendly place. Service was excellent and the staff were so helpful especially Kelsey. Certainly be back soon.
