We visited on a Thursday, early evening, having booked 2 weeks prior. Due to the time the Raven was quite quiet. I had the sea bass, cooked to perfection, it was fabulous. My friend had the Mediterranean vegetable cous cous (usually has Hunters Chicken, but decided to be brave and try something different) she was not disappointed. We both left extremely clean plates!

As always the food was excellent & we were all very happy with our meals. The food was very tasty, well cooked & presented & a good price.

Chef even came to the table to double check the allergies. There was obviously a new member of staff who was still learning who jumbled a few things up but the overall service was excellent. Food was superb and very fitting for a birthday lunch. Thank you so much for going that extra mile with the candle for my Mum. It really made her day.

Ben served us and is a real asset to the place, great banter and would highly recommend. I will knock off 0.25 of the score, only because the wrong pie was served, but it was delicious.

The Tilley Raven – ShrewsburyThis was our second visit and again we were served delicious home cooked food. There’s a light bites menu and a god choice on the children’s menu. The staff are really polite and friendly and it’s really good value for money. Recommend the beef and ale pie 100%
