Was greated with a warm welcome. Good choice of drinks. We ate fish , chips and mushy peas. And off the specials board Portuguese blade of beef which was delicious. Would have stayed longer but we were just passing through. Can recommend.

A lovely visit on Thursday lunchtime. The staff were so friendly & efficient. Even though there were quite a few diners in, we did not have to wait long for the food. The food was excellent! Starters of creamy tomato soup & a crab stacker followed by steak frites ( where the knife cut through the steak like butter) & a fish parcel in a lobster bisque. They were so tasty! Too full for a pudding but a lovely latte rounded off the meal nicely! A good choice of wine enhanced the meal. All in all it was very good value for money & we look forward to visiting again soon.

I ate here twice in my three day stay in Skipton. I ate alone but felt comfortable and relaxed doing so due to the friendly service and pleasant atmosphere. The food was excellent and the menu ( evening ) very tempting! I look forward to another visit when next in Skipton.

Exceptional food and service. Always feel like I’m somewhere else when I visit here. Staff are knowledgeable and attentive. Food was divine and I even got a special little treat for my birthday. I will definitely be back.

Great little Bistro which served great tasting food at a really good price, the service was attentive; honestly what was not to like. This was our first visit, we visited midweek and the Bistro was busier than I expected, despite this the wait times were short and the waiting staff were constantly checking all tables to see if anyone needed anything. We will be back!

Visited Le Bistro Friday lunch time with a friend. Was greeted on arrival & shown to table. Water brought to the table. After reading the menu we ordered our choice of starters & mains. Couldn't fault anything. The food was delicious, the presentation was lovely & great service. We paid as we left, we were advised of the service charge but there was nothing of this prior! We did pay this as couldn't fault anything, although we had left a tip at the table. We will be definitely be back.

Main course excellent. My husband had treacle tart for pudding and was not very nice. Service was very slow, not many customers in there so unsure why the service was slow.

Having just arrived in the area on a Monday a lot of the restaurants weren’t serving, found this Pub on the web and made a booking. So it was a great surprise to find that the food was excellent and great value, would definitely eat there again

This is our go to place for special occasions, in this case it was my Birthday. The food as always is excellent and the staff are friendly and always helpful. Looking forward to our next visit

Poor service - inexperienced staff with no one giving any guidance or instruction. Food was average at best snd not hot enough. 40 mins wait between starters and mains. Won’t be returning.

We had a wonderful meal to celebrate our wedding anniversary this week. The food was excellent and the staff we friendly and professional. Our second visit to this Bistro. Great food, great service. Best meal we've had locally since leaving France and so looking forward to our next visit. We highly recommend this restaurant. You will certainly not be disappointed Richard Burnett.

Very impressed with this place. Good service , decent choices and reasonable prices.My only comment is that my steak frites was over cooked. A French restaurant would cook this very rare. The menu said pink and the waitress checked this was ok but it came out somewhere between medium and medium rare. Chef , you need to do better on this ! Otherwise excellent.
