Visited many times. Called in on a busy Saturday tea time. We got put into a different room away from the noise of the bar area. Probably because one of our party was wearing ear defenders. So thank you for your consideration. It was appreciated. Service was faultless. Food faultless and excellent. Value for money faultless. What more can I say ?

Wow what a find this restaurant was, everything about it was excellent .Even my wife ate everything. The flavours of the food just perfect. The blackberry brandy to finish was something different. Staff were a pleasure to talk to & service spot on. Thank you.

Service was very good. We didn't have a starter. My husband had the dressed crab, which he enjoyed. I had a steak. Which was nothing special. Cooked well, just not a great deal of flavour. Puddings were both good. Good selection of wines, but on the pricey side. We live in Skipton and have been to Le Bistro, several times. I just wished they would change the menu or do some specials as the menu never changes. I find now, that I struggle with what to have. As I like to try different dishes.

I came alone for lunch on 12th August 24 at 12.30pm. The food was very good as usual. The service was excellent. Although the restaurant was very busy the young man and young lady that served me were attentive and helpful. Unfortunately I did not get their names but please commend them on my behalf. Thank you

We visited early evening so possibly there wasn’t the atmosphere, however the food was excellent and the service was good. For me the Queenie scallops and the dressed crab would take a lot of beating. Everything was so fresh and the whole menu was interesting, a complete change from so many restaurants & hotels we visited during our stay in the U.K.

I went to the bistro for lunch with a friend. It was one of those muggy days when you don’t feel so hungry - so being able to have 2 starters was ideal. The waitress brought us water for the table, was prompt in taking our order and checked about which starter we wanted to be served first. We both enjoyed our food very much, lovely bread and excellent flavours - just the right size too. The restaurant filled up quickly and there was a nice buzz about the place - though unusually, no music. The server pointed out that a service charge had been added to the bill but was clear that there was no requirement to pay. So many places don’t explain this so that got extra brownie points - and I was happy to pay it anyway to recognise a lovely lunch.

My Dad and I have been coming here for years and it never lets us down. Great mixture of well-known French dishes and other favourites, generous portions and a good choice of wines by the glass. Service is always cheerful and the place is right in the centre of town. (p.s. the Queenie scallops are particularly sinful - don't miss!)

Lovely two course lunch, good value for money, great food and friendly service .

We enjoyed everything about the food. It had a real French vibe to it. We will be in Central France next month and I know the food will be on a par with this restaurant. Service was friendly without being intrusive. Good choice of wine by the glass. Atmosphere felt a bit quiet, but it was a Wednesday...

We called in for an evening meal on a really busy Sunday, generous portions and good food so no complaints. Service was good and would have scored higher if we had got the jug of water we asked for- maybe splitting hairs though, as we could have asked again I suppose and we would definitely visit again.

Nice, friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Could not fault the service or food, with handsome portions, to boot.

We booked their "early type bird" on Friday for a 5-30pm sit down. Excellent service and good choice of food on the menu: we chose 2 course:- starter and main course with a bottle of white. Chicken Pate was exceptional with salad toast etc. Rump steak cooked Pink was delightful - it was cooked to perfection along with super French Fries, fab Salad with dressing, and mustard & mayo dressing for steak/chips etc All 10/10

Our favourite restaurant for a special evening. Food excellent and staff are brilliant, so friendly and knowledgeable. Wish we lived closer and would visit more often

Rather disappointed in the table that was given to us. We asked if we could be moved as didn’t want to look at the kitchen. WS moved to another table in restaurant that was available after all !! Been quite x as few times now and it always says on the menu outside that you have queen or scallops - never available, creme brûlée never available !!!’ Overall lovely meal but please have on the menu what you advertise !!!!
