We had booked for 7.30 but when we arrived we were told the table wouldn't be ready for half an hour.We went next door to the pub. When we got back to the restaurant we had a very good welcome from the two waitresses. We had a good meal.The service was excellent.

Food was high quality but also good quantities Not cheap but not expensive. We had pre booked and would recommend doing so to avoid disappointment

Our boys had the steak frites which were cooked to perfection and a very generous portion. We also received excellent service from all the staff. We have been here many times as a family and always enjoy it. Hope to be back soon!

Le Bistro Des Amis – SkiptonWe were Caravanning nearby and decided to book a table online for our last weekend treat. The pub wasn't too busy on Saturday afternoon. I had the lambs liver and onions with mash, and it came with a side dish of veg and mashed swede. It was delicious and was a very generous portion as well. The wife had gamon egg and chips, ( though the menu said ham? ) Again it was lovely and tasty, double egg plentiful gamon and great tasting chips we both agreed, I 'borrowed ' some. Service was good, though it wasn't busy. A nice atmosphere in there and tidy surroundings. I wasn't aware if there was a disabled toilet, though, as people often ask.

Le Bistro Des Amis – SkiptonWe travel from ilkley especially to eat here on numerous occasions, and we have never ever once had a bad meal, I am a big fillet steak fan and I can honestly say the cut,, flavour ,and perfectly cooked nature make this one of the premium fillet steaks, I have had anywhere , The staff are always very young, but that is no detriment to the level of attentiveness and service, All in all I believe this is the best restaurant in Skipton and one of the best in the area
