We visited last night for a family meal as it was my husbands birthday, only three of us (2A 1C) we were treated exceptionally well from arriving, the food was absolutely delicious and service was brilliant; nothing too much trouble. Staff were friendly with our son, and treated him like an adult despite only being five. We can’t wait to return! Only thing was a little chilly in the main area, but we didn’t feel it impacted our visit, next time will wear a jumper!

4 of us went for Sunday lunch. It was awesome. The biggest yorkshire puddings I've ever seen. I had the beef rump cooked pink and it was perfect. Loads of veggies supplied for the table. If I had to be picky I'd say there was no roast parsnip which was a miss. Deserts were wide ranging and lovely

Visited here 26th September with family members for dinner. The food was delicious and we were surprised at the portion size, the meals were huge. Great value for money too. Service was first class, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be visiting again soon.

We are regular visitors to the harbour lights, and since Michael and his team took over we have never had a bad meal. Last night we visited for a friends birthday meal. She said her scampi was delicious, my other friend had the chicken Kiev ( her usual) and I veered off from my usual to have the mince and dumplings! 3 empty plates! The only bad thing ….. I’m always too full to have a dessert! One tip —- use the app to book your table they’re always busy!

Highly recommend. Was visiting family and went here for a meal. Portion size was huge compared to other places we've been and in comparison to where we live in the South Ease! food was hot and staff were friendly and polite. Will definitely be going back.

Great food, great value! Very easy to book on line - glad we booked ahead because it was busy. Warm friendly welcome and order taken quickly. For starters we tried the Camembert and the spicy prawns - both were really tasty, large portions and well presented. For mains a tomahawk steak and mince and dumplings, again great taste, arrived swiftly and steak was perfectly cooked as requested. Huge portions and sadly that meant we had no room to try the desserts but they looked great too so will plan better next time! Great traditional pub/restaurant with great views over the river mouth, we will be returning again soon! Would be crazy not too as there is loads on the menu I want to try!! Over all 10/10

This was a great find! Loved the boat themed decor. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was lovely and reasonably priced with huge portions. Would definitely visit again.
