Harbour Lights – South ShieldsBooked a window table and had a fabulous 2 course meal and a few drinks. The staff are so friendly and their customers service excellent. I was given a drinking glass that I admired by the waitress as well. Been a few times for family meals and this time I had scampi and it was delicious. They have a fab fish menu, so others in our party had dressed crab and sea bream. Desert was crumble and white chocolate tart. Yum yum.
Harbour Lights – South ShieldsLovely meal for three with a visiting guest to the area. Reservation was made at the last minute online and was very straightforward. It was a Monday evening so not busy. Menu is quite extensive for a small local pub. The food was very tasty and cooked nice and extremely good value for money. Our guest commented how affordable it was compared to down south! We would also like to praise the friendliness and politeness of the staff, especially the two girls waiting the tables. Will definitely return and highly recommend!

I am gluten free & sometimes struggle to find somewhere accommodating, but everything was great here, the lovely waitress talked me through menu what I could have. The staff are so lovely , polite& friendly I'd definitely recommend.

Apart from the food it’s the staff who make this place. The staff were amazing & helped with a birthday celebration. Nothing was a trouble. Can’t beat this place especially for VFM. Harbour Lights – South ShieldsLovely as always. I had the steak pie and it was delicious too big but hey I done my best. Hubby had cottage pie and he loved that too. Lovely atmosphere clean tidy and very down to earth. Staff always welcoming nothing ever a bother to them. Even though it was a bank holiday and very busy we weren’t rushed at all. We booked a table cos it’s always busy and would definitely recommend booking or at least ringing to avoid disappointment of not getting a table.
