Lunchtime Birthday celebration with family. Fantastic meal, nice ambiance. Helpful and friendly staff. Will definitely visit again. Highly recommend

We booked with the intention of ordering from the seafood menu but were told this was only available on Wednesdays. I heard 4 other tables ask for the same menu only to be told not on a Saturday. I think this needs to be more clear on your website. The meals we did have were very nice. My Husband said his mince and dumplings were right up there with the best he’s ever had. I had the chicken Kiev which disagreed with me when I got home but I think that was a ‘me’ problem rather than the food being poor. Overall we thought the meals were very nice and service was great.

My grilled chicken was beautiful a friend had fish and chips which was fine Two other friends found their veg too hard to eat a bit more than al dente !! Disappointing

Benn a couple of times and tried different foods, all fresh cooked, good choice and absolutely beautiful. Homemade chips are amazing and be prepared for big portions. We will be back

Food superb as usual. Staff very pleasant and efficient. Nice location. Reasonable price. Won’t be going elsewhere.

Yet another great meal. Cannot fault the quality it quantity of the food. Staff are always friendly. It’s our go to leave when we visit South Shields. Never disappointed, always excellent.

Food is amazing although too much at times. Chips are the best. Good surroundings, great views . Staff are lovely and all food is cooked to order. Been several times and will go again.

Steak night is fab 2 decent steaks for £35 is a winner for me Staff are amazing but a big shout out to Claire for her attentive service. Chips are amazing btw defo order those and also the garlic butter sauce Top notch food for a reasonable price 5* review Highly recommended

4 of us at the Harbour Lights on the 25th June the meals were amazing,complements to the chef and the girls waiting tables are lovely, very attentive and jolly. We will be back very soon. Thank you all

Booked for 2 people for breakfast on Friday ended up with our son too it wasn't a problem the staff were really friendly and helpful the breakfast arrived quickly and was absolutely beautiful! One of the best breakfasts ive had in a long time! Cant wait to go back and try the main menu!

Fabulous food attentive knowledgeable staff. Vegetables were fresh and so flavoursome and the lemon sole was delicious. Will tell all to try it and I shall certainly return !!

We had another excellent meal at Harbour Lights and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The food was delicious, and it was clear that great care had been taken with both the preparation and presentation. What made the experience even more memorable was the exceptional service from the staff. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, attentive, and eager to help, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere throughout our visit. I would especially like to thank the kind gentleman who came to my assistance when I experienced a problem with my wheelchair. He went out of his way to help, showing genuine care and kindness at a moment when it was greatly needed. His thoughtfulness made a real difference and is something I will not forget. Thank you to everyone at Harbour Lights for not only providing a wonderful meal but also for your outstanding customer service and kindness. We look forward to visiting again and would highly recommend Harbour Lights to others.

A party of 9 all meals beautiful and staff extremely helpful and friendly

As ever, great food and great friendly service. Had the steak deal for both of us and the biggest sharing onion ring platter I've ever seen.
