Lovely as always. I had the steak pie and it was delicious too big but hey I done my best. Hubby had cottage pie and he loved that too. Lovely atmosphere clean tidy and very down to earth. Staff always welcoming nothing ever a bother to them. Even though it was a bank holiday and very busy we weren’t rushed at all. We booked a table cos it’s always busy and would definitely recommend booking or at least ringing to avoid disappointment of not getting a table.

Perfect as usual. Had the beef rump which was very tasty with loads of veg and very tasty gravy. Now won’t go anywhere else for Sunday lunch.I

First time there sunday for a dinner.. gorgeous beef dinner! Then went Thursday to try their breakfasts..Will defo return for both :) lovely staff

We had lunch here, I had the Fish and Chips which were lovely. My Wife and our friend both had the chicken flatbread which were delicious and may become the new favourite.

Amazing meal,cooked to perfection, service amazing,staff very friendly and efficient. Can not wait to come back.

1st time at the harbour lights , we had a Sunday lunch and it was really nice. Would recommend and definitely go again. Staff were really friendly and it was packed

Really nice choice of well-cooked and presented food (good fish, veggie n vegan options too, even for aunday lunchtime). The interior is light, bright and nicely fitted with nice views in the front bar ( where dogs are welcome) of the mouth of the tyne and parkland. It has an attractive, unfussy retro vibe. Staff were friendly and efficient. A real find.

Such a delightful experience!! So glad we booked a table beforehand as it got very busy. We arrived and I accidently didn't book a dog friendly table, however the staff were very accommodating and a table with a view to Tynemouth was found for us. The food was utterly delicious, and with a good portion. We found the whole experience very lovely. The staff were friendly and polite, the food delicious, the views awesome, and we will definitely be back.

Very nice food, well presented and friendly staff. Price is reasonable and the quality is excellent. Great choice on the menu and beautiful view if you sit at the front. Only thing I'd say was service was slow after our mains arrived. We'd have probably have had desert but our server didnt come back so we left in the end.

Lovely meal and amazing service as always. We had an awkward member in our party and the staff were very friendly and patient. Couldn’t have done more.

First time for a meal there for 4 of us. We all enjoyed both our starters and main meals, we all agreed we will be paying it another visit. Staff very friendly and great value.

Another fabulous meal at the Hatbour Lights in South Shields. Fish night menu on offer which was absolutely delicious and inviting. Wish I could have tried them all but will have to wait until next week now. Service was once again exceptional, all managed by Jan and her magnificent team.

What wonderful meals we had on Monday evening. I had the baked cod, my husband the sausage n mash and my mother-in-law has the smoked cod. All were extremely delish and the potions were huge. Will definitely book again very soon. Also the staff were amazing very friendly and helpful.

Very friendly helpful staff. Great venue with fabulous views. We had the 2 for £20 evening specials… great price for excellent meals. Fish and Chips were delicious. Great selection of beers on offer. Highly recommended at anytime for food or drinks.

A wonderful warm welcome from staff and a log burning stove! Fabulous breakfast with coffee served by extremely friendly staff and a quick service. Well presented and cooked to perfection. Lovely views adding to this perfect start to a Monday morning. Highly recommended venue.

Excellent food and service

Have been for both breakfast and lunch . Great service . Can't beat the breakfast, great value and quality food . Lunch great to portions are quite big .
