Me and my wife have tried most restraunts on our doorstep and wanted too venture somewhere else I was searching on Google and found this place, booked online same day and wow what a little hidden gem it is the bar staff/ servers are very attentive very polite and a credit too the establishment. The food is extremely nice full of flavour and I'd say the price is very reasonable too, and our window view just capped it off for us. We really enjoyed the experience and we will definitely be returning. Thankyou too the amazing staff and chef for hosting us.

Harbour Lights. South Shields. What can I say other than please go there. We have eaten here for quite along time. Last visit was Sunday lunch last week. Everything is freshly cooked to perfection. Definitely no frozen veg or "dingy" microwave meals here. Give it a try you won't be disappointed. Staff are all SO friendly.

Due to unforeseen circumstances I had to ring the harbour lights to inform them my husband couldn’t attend her Sunday booking. I asked whether instead I could pick up two takeaways. Pub was full when I picked up my order. Service was spot on and the meals were brilliant as normal.

I visited on Sunday 17th May with my family and was thoroughly impressed with the quality, taste and presentation of our dinners. Always a pleasure to dine here as it is warm and welcoming and we are always amazed at the speedy service. Keep up the good work, first class.

Great food, great staff and excellent value for money!

Booked a window table and had a fabulous 2 course meal and a few drinks. The staff are so friendly and their customers service excellent. I was given a drinking glass that I admired by the waitress as well. Been a few times for family meals and this time I had scampi and it was delicious. They have a fab fish menu, so others in our party had dressed crab and sea bream. Desert was crumble and white chocolate tart. Yum yum.

Lovely meal for three with a visiting guest to the area. Reservation was made at the last minute online and was very straightforward. It was a Monday evening so not busy. Menu is quite extensive for a small local pub. The food was very tasty and cooked nice and extremely good value for money. Our guest commented how affordable it was compared to down south! We would also like to praise the friendliness and politeness of the staff, especially the two girls waiting the tables. Will definitely return and highly recommend!

Been here a few times now & everytime been top quality food. I am gluten free & sometimes struggle to find somewhere accommodating, but everything was great here, the lovely waitress talked me through menu what I could have. The staff are so lovely , polite& friendly I'd definitely recommend.

Third visit here everything was amazing the food was presented lovley and tasted as good as it looked. Good Value for money and the service was second to none will definitely be back highly recommended.
