Easy to book a table online & I received confirmation very quickly. The food arrived piping hot & freshly made. Highly recommend the pasta with tuna! Staff were lovely & engaging towards our table of 5.

wow what a night! Great atmosphere, lovely staff, couldn’t do enough for you, so attentive, food was amazing , from the start with the bread board with dips to starters , mains- my steak was perfectly cooked, no fat and melts in the mouth, and a lovely surprise for desert . It was our anniversary and they brought out a little ice cream, we really couldn’t fit any desert in . So a lovely gesture. Will definitely go back again . 10/10

Excellent little place

Despite having a bad experience here just two weeks ago (they lost our order which resulted in a very long wait), we decided to give it a second chance. We checked online for availability (there was) but given that we were only 3 minutes away we decided to just drop in with our two young children. The man that greeted us said they didn’t have room for us. There was several empty tables. I explained I had literally just checked online and there was availability but he wouldn’t let us in. Sadly, we won’t be giving it a third chance.

The team may well have been short staffed, but as ever the food was excellent. With front of house stretched, there was a hint of annoyance at being asked to correct a drinks order. Never the less, too taco remains one of our favourite eateries in Southport.

Very disappointed with the service. We arrived at 19.34 and didn’t receive our starters until 20.45. We asked a passing waitress how much longer our starters were going to be as we had watched another table that arrived after us receive and eat their starters then main courses. I’m guessing our order got lost but there was no explanation and although the young waitress we stopped, apologised I felt there should’ve been some acknowledgement or an apology from the manager on duty. By the time food arrived, my hunger had passed then both courses came close together and I couldn’t finish my main course. (Which was £29).

Really poor Waited over 1hr for food and when it came it was still frozen

We came to Tic Tacos for a birthday meal celebration whilst visiting my Mum. We choose several dishes to share between the three of us, Mum isn’t too fussed on hot spicy food but after we tucked in she was really impressed. The service was fantastic and very attentive. Thanks for a lovely meal we will return and recommend to many others

Master Mcgraths do not disappoint. Once again a delicious lunch at a great price. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Any special dietary requests and they do their best to oblige. I had my big birthday meal there and they made it very special.

We enjoyed a lovely family meal here in August, having not visited the restaurant for a number of years. We all had a main course and dessert; the food was excellent and well presented. The service was very good and we felt welcome. The restaurant has a good atmosphere, with the tables nicely spaced. We took advantage of the early bird menu for some meals which was great value. We’ll definitely be visiting again soon.

Brilliant night great food and great service. Our favourite place to eat in Southport when we visit .

We came on a Friday having booked cinema tickets for later in the evening. I booked online but at quite short notice, they had no record but had a table available. We then waited around 15 minutes for someone to take our drinks order. We then waited a similar amount of time for someone to take our food order and only after we called a waiter over and pointed out that 2 tables who arrived after us had ordered, they took pur food order. The start of bread and oil took a considerable amount of time to come, especially considering the minimal amount of preparation required and then we waited for out main courses. As time was tocking on and we had cinema tickets, we chased up our order as we had been in the restaurant for an hour at this point and we were concerned whether we may need to leave to make our movie. The male waiter chased the order but didn't give us an expected time. We chased again with a female waiter who was able to confirm that our main courses would be 5 more minutes and was this OK? We confirmed it was and finally received our main courses. I has calzone which was hot and tasty, my husband had spaghetti carbonara which he enjoyed. We then had to ask for the bill and leave. Overall the food was lovely when it came, the price was very reasonable but the service left a lot to be desired. Considering how close to the cinema they are, you would think they would be more considerate of their patrons having onward, timed plans.

A lovely little restaurant with delicious food. We went for a birthday celebration and were treated to a cake and sparkler at the end of our meal. Our food came quickly after we'd ordered it, and it was worth the wait! Just a couple of negatives: We arrived and were left standing for a full 5 minutes before we were acknowledged, and seated, and then waited over 20 minutes before we were able to order drinks and food. It wasn't busy, (only 2 other tables). There was only 1 waiter for the first hour, but then another arrived, so things improved, but we were leaving by then... Disappointing because we'd heard good reviews about the place. Not sure if we will return.
