Family Jones

We have visited the pub a couple of times since the reopening and have been very impressed with the interior design, lay out of the food and drinks areas, the friendly service provided by all of the staff and the quality of the food served. On Sundays the traditional Sunday lunch is a particularly good choice and is very reasonably priced too. I am currently working my way through the pudding list, and can highly recommend the Sticky Toffee Pudding and Jam Roll. My daughter liked the fact that she could have custard with any of the puddings! In December we hope to return to check out the Christmas menu.

This really is a hidden little gem of an Indian restaurant / takeaway. I am an avid curry fan and am very particular about quality Indian food. This place has such a mouthwateringly diverse menu, I get hungry just thinking about it. Some curry houses have a very bland selection to choose from but The Indian Palace caters for every taste bud. Sweet, sour, mild to blindingly hot, the dishes here make this my number one choice for Indian food. The staff are very polite too. The only thing missing on the menu for me is a 'mansuri' dish or 'lamb chop tandoori.' I would love to see those added to this already tantalising menu, but I'm just greedy. Five star food, which I thoroughly recommend to any fan of Indian cuisine. Trust me, you will not be disappointed. Simply superb!

I have had many Indian meals and The Kasturi is one of the finest restaurants in Southport. There is an authentic taste and some fantastic dishes. A takeaway delivery service would be nice but other than that, you can't go wrong. Pure quality!

Used to be a good place to eat but the standard has slipped within the last few months. Food cold and very delayed

Been in the past and it was excellent but went last Tuesday and the food was not nice, the service was terrible. Disappointed as the last time it was perfect.

I have been visiting The Botanic Gardens since before I was old enough to remember and cannot recall a trip without a visit to the excellent family run cafe. Always greeted with a smile, the service and food quality can always be relied upon. Everyone I have taken there has commented on the milky coffee and the chips. There is foo to appeal to everyone and the homemade specials are always lovely. Since recently going there with my own son, the highchairs and flexibility make it a great place to take our little boy. I would recommend it without reservation.

Enjoyed a leisurely Saturday all day breakfast here, service was fast , courteous and waitress was informative about the dishes. Breakfast was piping hot ( a must for me) and was well worth the money- Would definitely eat here again

Visited Salvatore's for third time, never a problem fitting us in. dine inside or out ( weather permitting)Food of a very high standard, only problem is portion size, ok if you have an appetite like Desperate Dan.Service is excellent , kitchen can be seen from dining area so you can see that all food is prepared and cooked from fresh.Well worth a visit, cost of meals in our opinion will not disappoint. Two starters, two main meals, wine and coffee around £50

Visited 28 Sept 2011.Nice surroundings, chickenless and very sweet more like a sugary drink - chicken & sweetcorn soup. Hot and sour soup smelled like a farm yard. Chips freezing cold . Fresh food coming out of the kitchen was cold as soon as it was put on display.Wait for it....Plates to eat the food off were chipped in many places. Definitely won't be going back

We were in the area for one night 24/9 and this was recommended to us by our b&b host. We arrived five minutes before they stopped serving but no problem. The service was excellent and the food sublime. The restaurant had a lovely ambience, and the proprietors were visible, attentive and totally focused on your satisfaction, with the staff personable and efficient. Very highly recommended.

Recently ate here with my family and the first thing that stood out for us was the choice of food and price. The next thing was how friendly the staff were to us. The food is fantastic, the vegetarians in our family were well catered for and roast dinner was equally excellent too. Definitely worth stopping by if you looking for top quality food!

Me and my partner went for tea here on Monday and i was stunned at how awful the food was the service was terrible the waiter had no manners and could hardly speak English and the food was disgusting the soup was watery, hardly any meals out we didn't eat our £10.95 worth each and was kicking ourselves that we chose to eat there and felt sick when i had to pay £30.00. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone it is the worst Chinese we have ever had.

Great food and friendly staff ,what more can you want from a night out. They have music nights at the weekends. The prices are very good and an interesting menu.

Nothing too much trouble for the chef or the very courteous and attentive staff. The food is of a consistently high standard with an exceptionally varied menu - everything is very competitively priced and Le Boulevard has, of recent times, been credited with various awards for it's endeavours. Highly recommended - give it a try - you will not be disappointed.
