Forge Brasserie – SouthportWe've been going to this lovely Greek/Cretan Taverna for a few years now and always enjoyed it! Food always tastes so delicious, lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. Love the place and will keep on going there.
Crete Greek Taverna – Southportabsolutely great place , food was excellent , staff were attentive , was surprised at the relatively low cost of the meal in such a nice place , i highly recommend people try here !!
The Warehouse Kitchen and Bar – SouthportI went to Salvatores a few weeks back now on a Saturday it is on the main street in southport town centre great location, I can honestly say I have never had better service and food. The Italian waiter was very hospitable and the kitchen seemed to have much experience in the food they were cooking. I had the Calamari to start and my husband had the Garlic and bacon mushrooms absolutely gorgeous, presentation also. For mains I had the rack of lamb and my husband had a penne pasta with salmon and king prawns he very much enjoyed this said the sauce was out of this world. We would very much recommend this to anyone it is a lovely place to eat. Definitely going back. See you soon
Salvatore’s – SouthportThis is one of the best Greek restaurants I've been to in a long time, the food is fresh and tasty, the meat always cooked to perfection the salads light and refreshing, as you'd expect in a good quality Greek Restaurant. The wine and beer authentic and excellent value - as is the food. The atmosphere is charming and relaxed, the service is of a very high standard. A must visit.
Crete Greek Taverna – SouthportWe stumbled upon this pub/restaurant by accident and we were not disappointed. Both the food and service were excellent, the ambience of the place was good. My wife had the pate starter, this was the most beautiful pate we have ever tasted. I will be visiting again, and do not hesitate to recommend this place
Master McGraths – SouthportWe went there the other week with friends, who had booked, it was quite nice, but frankly, I could not see what all the fuss was about. I found it to be bog standard bistro/gastropub food, it was nice but I felt a little pricey for what it was. I wouldn't rush back.
Bistrot Verite – SouthportWe have being going to this place for years. The choice of food is not huge, but the standard is better than most "eat as much as you like style" . The service for me is my only gripe. Beware when taking a 1 yr old baby. They charged us for letting the baby have some of our ice cream. They only allow you to pay cash too. People with children..... it maybe worth asking the price plan for little ones. We also were served two nice glasses of lemonade at £5.60 2 x adults 1 x baby £20.40 P.s Chicken wings are good. when you can get them
Oriental Garden – SouthportOne word amazing ! Staff are very welcoming and it is a great place to go for a special meal.
Forge Brasserie – SouthportAlways a pleasure to dine here, the staff are friendly and efficient, nothing is too much trouble. The food has a good selection and for sheer value you must try the Thali - the Asian equivalent of tapas! A good selection of accompanying drinks can be taken in the small attached lounge, nice modern surroundings. The owner takes real pride in his restaurant.
Taj Mahal – SouthportThis restaurant is always at the top of my list of enjoyments when I come back to Southport from Australia where I now live. It's a long way to come for a curry some would say....others just nod and understand. The food, the attention to detail and service are worth the trip!
Kasturi Indian Cuisine – SouthportHave eaten here several times, last two in party of 14 family 8 years to 75 ! We had the private room upstairs and what a good venue, nice friendly staff, good ambiance and superb food. Many ums and wows from the children who were treated with pleasant respect and not a half eaten plate in sight such is the choice. Not the cheapest place in southport but probably in our family opinion, the best ! love going there , love the food and what more can I say ? Great place
The Warehouse Kitchen and Bar – SouthportDefinitely one of the best place to eat in southport. Excellent value for money, I go pretty much every week with my girlfriend and recommend it to everyone I know. The daily food deals such as half price steaks on Tuesday and two for one pizzas on a Wednesday are extreme value for money!
Rueters – SouthportCan't go wrong with Pizza Express. Like the new range from their new executive chef. I had a top pizza served on slate and great new salad called semplica i think. Good views out of the big windows at this one in Southport
Pizza Express – Southportlittle jewel this place, great original food, reasonably priced, quiet location good attentive service, what more could you ask for?
Gusto Trattoria – Southportbistro verite some of the best food i have eaten, good service and ambiance if a little cramped, but nevertheless the food is and always should be central to the whole dining experience and in this case it is
Bistrot Verite – SouthportFinding myself in southport tonight, popped into Volares on Lord st, what a nice place !small, friendly and family owned and run. owner is the chef ! and really good food. Had Sicilian fish soup which was as nice as I have ever had, piquant and choc full of mussells. and a really good pizza with parmesan, rocket, parma ham and tiny tomatoes, it was enormous and I ended up taking half home for supper. Prices are very reasonable, 2 courses for about £13 and 3 for £15 ish , splendid value, will go again next week with the family
Volare – SouthportHadn't been to the restaurant for years but its definitely back on form after we ate their one Sunday in Feb with friends who were visiting from London. All four of us had a different variety of beef and they were all great dishes, our friends being used to southern fine dining and prices couldn't believe the choice, quality, presentation and price. We'll definitely be back...its going to take some time to figure out the best dish. I would highly recommend Master McGraths to anyone looking for quality local food.
