Rueters – SouthportI had heard many good things about Bistrot Verite and they were all absolutely right. The atmosphere, service, staff and of course the most important part ,the food ,was absolutely delicious. I had "Creamy smoked haddock & spinach gratin which was to die for you. It was accompanied by the best new potatoes and vegetables I had eaten in a long time ,so much so I finished the lot and had no room for a dessert. Good excuse to return!!
Bistrot Verite – SouthportI have had nothing but positive experiences when visiting the All New Ho Lee Chow. In fact, each experience just gets better and better. Friendly service, tailored to the needs of the clients, reasonable prices, tasty food and a business that remembers the customers. I have recently found that I have a wheat allergy - something that makes dining out a nightmare. However, there is no cause for concern when dining here. Not only will they make sure your dishes are wheat / gluten free, they have changed their recipes for items, for example tasty Prawn Crackers ( which, I swear, are better than the wheat versions ) and will happily make adjustments to the banquet menus, where possible, including the Early Bird menu. For example, when I last visited the restaurant, the group I was with decided to go for the Early Bird menu. I thought I would have to miss out on the platter course because of the contents. However, adjustments were made so that I could have just as many dishes as my companions ( ribs, chicken wings, pickled vegetables, prawn ball ). Their reason for changing the menu - "You don't want a change because you don't like something - it's because you physically can't have something". What a wonderful experience. Thank you Christine and the rest of the staff. I look forward to my next visit - which will be soon so get the wheat free soy sauce ready!
Ho Lee Chow – SouthportNever Again - food poisoning from Chicken & Bacon Salad
Rueters – SouthportI use weatherspoons regularly because you usually offer a great service. On sunday 11th Ju ly in was visiting Liverpool for the first time . We went in weatherspoons to have a meal and watch the England match. Two of your staff on different occasion decide to stand in front of the tv stopping six different tables from watching the match. He was asked if he would move. He replied I work here i am on my break and i will stand where i want. He was told everyone behind him was having food and watching the tv. He said tuff. Most of the time he wasn't watching the match he was texting on his phone. We were all disgusted that the staff would behave in this manner. I would NOT RECOMMEND the liverpool weatherspoons.
The Sir Henry Segrave – Southportfantastic food lovely staff and a great place if you want a romantic night out or a family celebration. We held our sons 1st birthday here with family and the service was fab. I have tried every item on the menu and i cant fault it. I live in Ainsdale and am so proud to have such a lovely restaurant where i live. I urge people that have never been there to try it, as i know you will agree its fabulous.
Dolce Vita – SouthportI would like to say what a lovely restaurant. Staff were lovely and chatty. Food was superb never tasted pasta quite like this. The sauce was divine and my partners pizza was the best he has tasted. We will be back soon and looking forward to it already.
Salvatore’s – SouthportWe have dined here many times and also invited friends to join us.The food is delicious service is great and great value for money. Our friends have had a 50th birthday here and also a wedding reception. Excellent well recommended.
Crete Greek Taverna – Southportwe visit here on a regular basis both for lunch and dinner. Excellent food staff great lovely atmosphere.
Forge Brasserie – SouthportWe've been going to this lovely Greek/Cretan Taverna for a few years now and always enjoyed it! Food always tastes so delicious, lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. Love the place and will keep on going there.
Crete Greek Taverna – Southportabsolutely great place , food was excellent , staff were attentive , was surprised at the relatively low cost of the meal in such a nice place , i highly recommend people try here !!
The Warehouse Kitchen and Bar – SouthportI went to Salvatores a few weeks back now on a Saturday it is on the main street in southport town centre great location, I can honestly say I have never had better service and food. The Italian waiter was very hospitable and the kitchen seemed to have much experience in the food they were cooking. I had the Calamari to start and my husband had the Garlic and bacon mushrooms absolutely gorgeous, presentation also. For mains I had the rack of lamb and my husband had a penne pasta with salmon and king prawns he very much enjoyed this said the sauce was out of this world. We would very much recommend this to anyone it is a lovely place to eat. Definitely going back. See you soon
Salvatore’s – SouthportThis is one of the best Greek restaurants I've been to in a long time, the food is fresh and tasty, the meat always cooked to perfection the salads light and refreshing, as you'd expect in a good quality Greek Restaurant. The wine and beer authentic and excellent value - as is the food. The atmosphere is charming and relaxed, the service is of a very high standard. A must visit.
Crete Greek Taverna – SouthportWe stumbled upon this pub/restaurant by accident and we were not disappointed. Both the food and service were excellent, the ambience of the place was good. My wife had the pate starter, this was the most beautiful pate we have ever tasted. I will be visiting again, and do not hesitate to recommend this place
Master McGraths – SouthportWe went there the other week with friends, who had booked, it was quite nice, but frankly, I could not see what all the fuss was about. I found it to be bog standard bistro/gastropub food, it was nice but I felt a little pricey for what it was. I wouldn't rush back.
Bistrot Verite – SouthportWe have being going to this place for years. The choice of food is not huge, but the standard is better than most "eat as much as you like style" . The service for me is my only gripe. Beware when taking a 1 yr old baby. They charged us for letting the baby have some of our ice cream. They only allow you to pay cash too. People with children..... it maybe worth asking the price plan for little ones. We also were served two nice glasses of lemonade at £5.60 2 x adults 1 x baby £20.40 P.s Chicken wings are good. when you can get them
Oriental Garden – SouthportOne word amazing ! Staff are very welcoming and it is a great place to go for a special meal.
Forge Brasserie – SouthportAlways a pleasure to dine here, the staff are friendly and efficient, nothing is too much trouble. The food has a good selection and for sheer value you must try the Thali - the Asian equivalent of tapas! A good selection of accompanying drinks can be taken in the small attached lounge, nice modern surroundings. The owner takes real pride in his restaurant.
