great food just needed abit of music

Booked for my husbands birthday... we weren't disappointed. Food was excellent and they don't skimp on the sizes. I have celiac disease, so for me its just wonderful to have such a varied menu to choose from and things can be adapted for me, I can relax with my family in the knowledge of eating safely. We couldn't eat it all, so we had "doggy bags" to take home. Staff are friendly and want you to have a lovely experience. Nothing is to much trouble.

Food was excellent. Not much choice in wine. Coffee machine still broken. Service good.

A wide range & interesting menu. Excellent food well served. Attentive & cheerful service. Sadly lacking in real ale though with just Bank's Amber on which was a shame, but it wouldn't stop me eating there.

We visit the Smokey Cow once every 2 or 3 months. There is always a great choice of food on the menu which caters for every taste. My children like very different food and its not always easy to find a pub/restaurant that suits everyone in the family...... but The Smokey Cow always delivers. The food is well priced and there is a good selection or beer/lager at the bar. It's dog friendly too, making it a real family favourite.

Food was excellent! Will always recommend. Staff was brilliant, friendly, swift. One of my favourite places. Even left a tip as it went above my expectations. Well done guys keep smashing it

Arrived and seated within seconds, wanted a mix grill which they had taken off the menu but the chef still made it up for me! I could of ate it 10 times over it was that nice Will 100% be visiting again Thank you

Great food, great service. Lovely, friendly staff. Was overcharged, as someone else's bill was included with ours. Never noticed until we got home, one phone call and swiftly rectified

Lovely meal for 8, all ages all different taste. We chose 8 different meals and sides, every meal was wonderful Staff great we will be back.

food was superb, the nicest buffalo wings I've had outside of America. Really good server she was chatty and not robotic like some places. only a small criticism was that the room was lacking atmosphere which could easily be sorted with some background music and maybe some colour on the walls and making it a bit more cosy

Amazing food and service, will definitely return to have all the other dishes in the menu! Live music was really good too

The food was ok. The service was slow The young waitress was not very welcoming at all and even go as far as quite rude
