Been to the Smokey Cow in Beckbury a number of times . Yet to disappoint us , food always very good , staff very friendly and priced very competitively. Also a lovely village if you fancy walking off your meal !

We went for Christmas dinner, for the 2nd time in 3 years. The food 2nd time round was even better than the first, good portion, good food and a chef that came a checked we were all happy. We will be going again.

Place well worth a visit. Good food & drink with excellent service

Our first visit here on Fri 6th Dec and we had an amazing meal. Live music which was great too, unfortunately we had to leave due to a customer who insisted on being the loudest noise in the restaurant. Turn your volume down dear.

We had a very tasty meal cannot fault the range of food on offer . I had a full rack of ribs and must say they are the best I have had . My only concern was the gentleman that served us could do with a shower he left quite an aroma which put us off somewhat

Went for catch up with friends and a bite to eat. Food was lovely the young lad cooking did a really good job. And good service, Would recommend a visit for food or drinks always nice with a real fire burning on these cold evenings.

Great as usual. The food is excellent especially the brisket, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The place is very nice and we had a great time.

Lovely place, well decorated and cozy log burner whilst having some lovely food. Will be back soon.

4 of us ate Sunday lunch honestly the best meal I ate excellent quantity and superbly cooked Really enjoyed everything no faults keep doing what your doing Yes we told them before we left how good our food was

Service was slow, despite the fact that the place was almost empty. Food was good but portions small.

Service was brilliant, Lizzie was quick to look after us and made sure we got what we wanted. The food was excellent for a Sunday lunch, worth every penny. Definitely recommend and will be going back often!

Food was absolutely delicious. Staff were lovely. Waited quite a while to order puddings though so we didn't order any. Could do with another member of staff. It felt like a school with the furniture and could do with a few soft furnishings.

3 of us had a Sunday roast. I booked a table and advised we had a dog. When we got there there was a bowl of water waiting. Service was quick and polite. The roast was some of the best we’ve had and the portions were substantial. Nothing to fault at all.

Without doubt the best Sunday lunch we’ve ever had. Family of 3, all said the same. Butter soft brisket, lovely roast potatoes, home made Yorkshire puddings, fresh vegetables, and plenty of it! Staff are all attentive and friendly, the beer is good too. Absolute gem of a find. We live over an hour away, and will definitely be back.

Booked a meal with 4 adults and 2 children. Upon arrival we were the only customers which we didn't mind. Drinks order taken promptly and food order followed shortly after. The starters took about 30mins to arrive which was a long time for what we ordered. The chicken wings were fresh and very good More diners had arrived during this time. There was only one staff member working front of house which delayed food coming from the kitchen due to her having to focus on pouring drinks and taking orders. Mains arrival 45mins later. Food was hot mainly and was okay. Burgers seem to be frozen low quality unfortunately but smoked sausage was relatively flavourful. The mac and cheese lacked flavour and didnt have a great texture l. Desserts had been ordered at the start yet they took another 30mins to arrive which was a long time and we ended up being there for over 2hrs. Staffing needs improving along with the quality of products offered. It wouldn't be difficult to make fresh burgers each day. Overall it was a okay meal with long waits.
