Very disappointed with the Boatyard. Poor service, general confusion, long wait for underwhelming and overpriced food. Will not return.

Molesworth Arms – WadebridgeGreat food, we had the seafood platter. Lovely atmosphere and very attentive staff. Highly recommended
Molesworth Arms – WadebridgeWe arrived at 19:00 and were taken to our table by a member of staff saying “that’s your table over there” and pointing to it. After 15 minutes we were approached by a member of staff who seemed surprised that no one ( including himself) had taken a drinks order and who then told us that there was no lamb, chicken or any roast available and that there were no pies available either. We told the waiter not to bother about the drinks we had ordered and went and ate elsewhere.
Molesworth Arms – WadebridgeAte here during a stay at the Moleworth Arms. Very good food and close attention by the staff. Overall a great palce to eat.
Molesworth Arms – WadebridgeLovely meal served by the delightful Karen who went out of her way to ensure a kids vegetarian option was sourced for my son. Food was excellent and despite the challenges of staffing due to covid, was served in a timely manner. Will definitely return and recommend.
Molesworth Arms – WadebridgeThe food was generally good but some dishes ( mushroom linguine, chicken pie) lacked a little flavour and could have done with more seasoning during the cooking process. My twin boys had the hanging kebabs which were excellent. Our waitress Emily was lovely, friendly, helpful and vey professional. I liked the way the [manager?] supervised his staff. Very much in charge and knew exactly what he wanted from them. Good to see that attention to detail.
Molesworth Arms – WadebridgeOnly been a few times and each time for Sunday roast, which is delicious! Really friendly service, lots of space between tables and lush food! Will definitely be back.
Molesworth Arms – WadebridgeGreat atmosphere and meal.
Molesworth Arms – WadebridgeNo fish pie on the menu today and we missed out on the skewers. Opted for the steak on the stone with a side order of ribs and they didn't disappoint. We have been coming here for 6 years now as part of our Camel Trail experience. Great staff. Never disappoints (Dog friendly too!).
Molesworth Arms – WadebridgeLovely family pub with great food and great service.
Molesworth Arms – WadebridgeExcellent service, friendly and efficient. Food was really tasty. Atmosphere, homely no hassle. Will definitely return.
Molesworth Arms – WadebridgeWe booked here on return from Padstow, after dropping off our bikes from cycling along the Camel Trail. The staff were very attentive, chatty and friendly, but we had to ask for a separate children's menu. We sat inside, and although enjoyed our meal, we went away feeling that the food was rather overpriced for what it was.. £18.95 for seafood linguine, was pretty steep for something rather average. An enjoyable meal apart from the price.
Molesworth Arms – WadebridgeHad a truly divine experience at the Boatyard last night , never tried it before but likes the look of the menu , hubby had the steak on a stone and was thrilled with it , the quirkiness of cooking it yourself was fascinating, I had the prawn , lobster and salmon linguine with tiger prawns to start it was my favourite meal ever!! Staff were attentive , professional and friendly and we will definitely be back
Molesworth Arms – WadebridgeYuuuuum! So good we came back for more. Really enjoyed both our meals at The Molesworth Arms, but the pizza was fabulous and the steak on a stone so, so good. Can’t wait to come back on our next visit to Wadebridge.
Molesworth Arms – WadebridgeI can honestly say this was one of the best meals in a pub I’ve ever had. As a family of 6 we were holidaying in the area and came across this place earlier in the week and as the menu looked good decided to book a table for later during the week. All our food was fresh, cooked perfectly and presented well. The service was excellent, nothing was too much trouble for the staff who looked after us. Thanks to all and we can recommend The Molesworth Arms to anyone.
Molesworth Arms – WadebridgeGreat service and atmosphere with really good quality food!
Molesworth Arms – WadebridgeStarted the night with a long list of items that were not available. Fours meals ordered, two were steaks that we cooked ourselves at the table and two portions of fish and chips. Drinks came fairly quickly but the food took well over an hour. We were told three times "It won't be much longer but we are swamped." Finally, after it got to 1 hour and 10 minutes, we asked how much longer it would be to get the reply. "I don't really know. I saw some meals cooking, they might be yours but I'm not sure". A bit of an odd reassurance. Still, we got to watch everyone else's, including the table next door who received a dessert they didn't order and when they queried it they got told: "oh we didn't have any of that cheesecake you asked for so we brought another". When they asked if it was nuts on top the response they got was a giggle and "I'm not sure, could be." Not so great if you have allergies. Ours finally arrived and was actually nice tasting (we got different veg to what we asked for but we were scared to complain incase we had someone else's meal and they wanted it back!) We came in at 7:50 for our 8pm reservation and we had only just finished one course just after 10.pm Chef great; serving staff need a bit more training.
