The room was clean and had a nice view of the river . We had a lovely meal . The stay was just wot we needed and would go back again very enjoyable .

What an absolutely gorgeous pub. Great atmosphere and super friendly staff. And then the food... roast beef dinner. Honestly it was one of the best I've ever had and I'm 72!! Proper slabs of "melt in your mouth" beef and a yorkshire that wasn't like a crispbread! Loads of veg etc....truly a great meal. Can't wait to go back.

Lovely restaurant. The food was amazing, we all had a starter, main and dessert and it was all beautifully cooked and tasted amazing. It was lovely to have Welsh speaking servers, three young girls who were very friendly and very attentive. Service was first class! Would definitely recommend! Diolch

We have dined at Y Sgwar for many years and enjoyed every occasion spent with the pleasant and polite staff and although always busy Lorraine sometimes has time for a brief chat which is always welcome. The food is delicious, we have tried many dishes and enjoyed everyone. We would highly recommend Y Sgwar for an early bird meal, wonderful Sunday lunch or that special occasion meal.

Lovely environment and the food and staff were fantastic

We come here a lot. Lovely environment great spot after walk at waterfalls at Nantcol. Staff work hard here but recently food hasn’t been so good. Limited choice for vegetarians. Food served cold and small portions.

We booked online the same day as staying in the area. Managed to get a table on a busy Saturday night. Very welcoming and great atmosphere, delicious food and attentive staff. Perfect evening!

A fabulous evening at The Square, the food was delicious and the service was great. We always make sure to visit when we’re in North Wales and this visit didn’t disappoint, we always thoroughly enjoy dining here. Only downside was that we booked for 8pm so were the last in and mopping the floors had started whilst we were still on coffees. We’ll definitely be back, but will book an earlier slot next time.

We [2 golfing friends and I ] had 2 excellent dinners as we had done last year . The service and the food was very good . The atmosphere was good and it was busy each evening. we will definitely be back.

Can highly recommend the Victoria Inn at Llanbedr. Very welcoming atmosphere and delicious food. Sunday lunch was fantastic. I had the beef and it melted in the mouth. Lots of gorgeous vegetables. Beware, don't order the large unless you are very hungry. My dog was very grateful however. Will be back

We were a party of 4 adults, 2young children and a dog. Our booked table was ready when we arrived and ordering food and drink was efficient. All staff were friendly and obliging. Our Sunday roast was delicious, as was the children’s pasta and desserts were huge.

We love eating here food is so nice and the staff are amazing, nothing is too much trouble for them we will definitely be back. We had dinner here on Saturday night then went back for a roast on Sunday xx

I was expecting a waitress to come and take our orders, as we have when we eat out in Sussex. There was such a noisy bar and felt it difficult to get to the bar to place our orders. However, the service and food were excellent. When we next holiday in the area, think we will choose somewhere else!

Right in the centre of town, an ideal location as we were staying nearby but very busy. The food was good & a generous portion size. Staff were very helpful and pleasant.
