Went for Sunday lunch, as usual the food and service were great. The Beef melted in the mouth and the selection of vegetables was good and well cooked.

The Victoria Inn – BarmouthVisiting Portmadog for my birthday weekend my wife and I were looking for a suitable venue for a lovely meal, and wow did we find it. The welcome was warm, the service outstanding and the food was excellant, the flat garlic bread was fabulous, the lamb melted in the mouth and the pudding the Bakewell with custurd delicious. In the area and looking for some fine dining then give Y Sgwar a go and I am certain you'll not be disapointed. When we are back in Portmadog we will return. Thank you for a wonderful evening of fabulous food and service!
Y Sgwar – PorthmadogLast evening we had a fabulous meal, service great and lovely atmosphere. The food was second to none and we will definitely be back!
Y Sgwar – PorthmadogBest Burger i’ve had for a while Bar staff was unbelievable Great atmosphere
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthExcellent meal as usual, will come again.
Y Sgwar – PorthmadogWe always love our visits to the Vic. Even in the depths of Winter there’s a welcoming fire in the hearth and good Beer and good Food. Likewise we visit the George quite often. A very different venue but equally as welcoming. Well done all of the Robinsons Team.
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthWe ate at lunchtime. It wasn’t very busy - only about 4 tables of people eating. The pub was lovely and warm. Our first course of shared Nachos was stale. This was apologetically replaced by nice crunchy fresh nachos. Apparently the staff opened a new bag. Main course of hallumi and hummus ciabatta was quite dry - more hummus would have been nice. My friends Pulled Pork bap was fine. Staff were helpful and polite, but not the best meal I’ve had in Llangollen.
The Bridge End Hotel – LlangollenWould have left a review but cannot check what written as only showing one line.
The Bridge End Hotel – LlangollenFelt short staffed, had to queue at the bar to get your booked table. Table in the back room was squashed, we had to move the middle table as there was no room for anybody to pass with our table of 6. Food came before any cutlery. Empty plate never got cleared so we didn't bother getting desserts. Sunday roast is well worth coming for, could do with more carrots, 2 slice each is a bit disappointing.
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthAnhygoel fel arfer, y bwyd a'r staff. Bob amser yn ymweld pan yn dychwelyd adra o'r de. Fabulous food, Sunday lunch in particular, friendly and hard working staff, what more could you ask for. Gwych!
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthWe love the Vic we live in Dyffryn . It’s a lovely relaxing atmosphere and the food is a knock out. Friendly and helpful staff and always polite, quick with our food
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthAs a frequent visitor with friends and family we have enjoyed our meals and appreciated the friendly bar and service staff.
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthFabulous Sunday Lunch . I am vegetarian and always impressed that the chef takes the time and effort to make a very good alternative to meat . I had the Vegetarian Wellington which included butternut squash , spinach, red peppers , beans etc wrapped in flakey pastry , delicious.
Y Sgwar – PorthmadogHad Early Bird menu on Friday .Enjoyed our food so much that we have booked for Sunday Lunch
Y Sgwar – PorthmadogI love this place!!! The food is always amazing, the staff are really lovely and the restaurant is spotlessly clean. Cant fault anything, always a lovely time here without fail.
Y Sgwar – PorthmadogBooked a meal for the family (son, wife and grand-children, daughter and husband and ourselves) post -Christmas. Had a lovely evening - staff were attentive but also left us alone to chat; food and drink were delicious (although not all first choices were available; but hey, post Christmas and New Year!) and everybody enjoyed it; atmosphere was great.
The Bridge End Hotel – LlangollenGreat food. Great service. Decor is a little cliche and table cloths would be better than the faux marble. The dining area was a little cold but we had a really nice meal.
