Initially, The Victoria were very amenable in granting us an earlier and more convenient dining time of 7.30 as requested (the only time available online was 8.15). On arrival, we were told where our table was and left to our own devices. The menu was ok but had no listed starters. There was however listed as side dishes calamari and pate etc. My partner queued at the bar to order but was quite abruptly told that "We don't do starters". There was also no wine list and very little effort to run through choices. We therefore decided to not order wine or any "side dishes" It is is pity that through their inflexibility and attitude, they missed out on sales as generally, the main courses were extremely good.

We had half a chicken dish off the specials board and coconut curry ...both lovely .The staff although very friendly and helpful seemed stretched and it was only the 5.30 and relatively quiet .Will definitely return

We had a meal at the Victoria , the food was good , when it arrived . When we were shown to our booked table the manager didn’t inform us we would have to order food and drinks at the bar . We sat for 30 minutes waiting for a waiter or waitress to appear . When the ordering process was eventually explained to us the manager was abrupt and informed us the place is very busy and they have staff shortages . Don’t think we will be going there again .

I visited here as it was the local when we used to spend long summers in Llanbedr. Had a delicious steak and Guinness "pot pie" with chunky chips and peas and a decent pint of beer. The staff were friendly and efficient and the young girl was running around collecting glasses and sanitising tables.

Overall good food and good service. Family atmosphere which was pleasant. Bar staff did not manage queue effectively, served someone who had only just joined (two others waiting) Drinks a little pricey. Overall though would visit again.

Visited this pub twice whilst on holiday nearby really impressed with the friendly atmosphere and ambiance of the Victoria ate there twice and food was great and very good value for money if only we had a pub like this where I live dog friendly which is essential if your dog is on holiday with you

The curry was delicious, hot and served very quickly despite the pub being very busy. We were annoyed to be charged £9.05 for half a lager and a glass of rosé but maybe that's normal - we don't get out much!!

Lovely meal the steak and Guinness pie was such a great flavour with lots of meat and very nice puff pastry. The Anglesey burger was really big and had the onion nest and bacon in it which made it really tasty. We had no room for dessert but they weren’t very exciting. They have a lovely garden but unfortunately it was raining but the area’s indoor were separated out so not just a wide open space which is nicer. We will definitely be back

Very poor menu, we were given a table pushed into a corner. We left without eating on this occasion. Very disappointed.

We visited the Pub recently and 2 of us had the rack of ribs, meat fell off the bone easily and was very tasty. 2 of us had the steak and ale pie, meat was very tender but unfortunately it was too salty for our tastes. Overall a good meal, we will return on our next visit.
