We spent a lovely evening the Pwllgloyw Arms, the Lamb Shank came highly recommended by one of the locals and we were delighted with our meal. The atmosphere was warm and friendly and we were invited to join in a game of quiots which we thoroughly enjoyed. We would highly recommend this pub to anyone. 2/2/2013 went for a meal tonight with my wife my dad and stepmam, as soon as we entered the four crosses we were hit with the smell of hot black rock cooking food Mmmm, we found a nice corner table for four and a waitress brought 4 menus to our table, I ordered the big mixed grill at £20.95p, my wife had the 16oz rump steak(med rare) , my dad had the plaice with mash and peas, and my mam the Salmon , 3 cokes and lager shandy, food arrived all together about 20min later, what can i say..... mixed grill Amazin Steak, Lamb chop, Gamon steak, pork chop, sausage, black puddin, Egg, chips and onions and salad, Compliments to the Chef very well cooked and presented All of the dishes 10 out of 10, waitresses really nice and friendly and very helpfull, we will certainly be going back again, nice friendly even though we did'nt have children with us, other customers did so seemed all were welcome, Congratulations to the Four Crosses shoul be renamed the Four Ticks :-)

Very disappointed after receiving poor customer service, when we complained about the meal we had when asked if everything was alright when paying our bill. We have always had such lovely meals in the past and never once complained, so today was a complete surprise as the food has always been so good.

I have often eaten at The Lilly in Llandudno the food in the restaurant is superb, surprising and I would say the finest in the area, the bar food is original and cooked fresh to order, I can honestly say I have never sent a meal back or had any cause for complaint, I hosted an event there this summer and the food that was provided was enjoyed by all my guests. The one thing that not many people might know about The Lilly is the rooms, wow is an understatement, go and be nosy and ask for a tour, you won't find more exquisite accommodation in North Wales, I was going to put, for the price, but I have seen more expensive and much more expensive that don't even come close. Enjoy xx

We have been visiting Barmouth for years and have eaten in most restaurants.Visited Captains Table last evening -and will certainly not be visiting again!Food is very over-priced for what it is, portions were not what you would expect and distinctly lacked atmosphere.Didn't start well when given menu - which was covered in some form of sticky substance! We were not alone in our thinking - one couple left after just 15 minutes - say no more!

27th June , my wife Ann's birthday.4 of us had lunch, we were only just in time. we all had the most glorious meal, with the drinks the bill came to £190, for this meal not expensive. I can't say any more, only just fantastic food and wonderful service. somewhere very special.

Hi everybody, just been again to stay at the Bull in Abergele. Just as good as ever, lovely bedroom, great food, the mixed grill is just brilliant, if you want to eat it all forget the chips, unless your greedy. Had a really good laugh with John because he has broken his leg, so there was a lot of p*** taking. I will recommend the Bull to anybody. What a great place, keep it up, Lindsey & John.
