Excellent meal at this splendid restaurant. Very helpful and knowledgeable service. Quiet atmosphere which facilitated conversation with our friends.

The food here is superb and very well presented. A very warm and welcoming atmosphere and a great service too. Highly recommend.

Stopped by for lunch on Saturday and was incredibly impressed with the meal. From starters to dessert, everything tasted amazing. The staff were also very welcoming and friendly. All of us agreed that we would absolutely be returning.

Good service, lovely food, relaxed ambience

I entertained two friends for lunch on a busy Saturday before Christmas. The service was great, very friendly and attentive staff. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Excellent choice for all courses. House wine also very good. We all agreed it was the best meal out we'd had for a long time. We'll be back.

Absolutely love this place it’s definitely one of our favourites , we love the setting the food is always so delicious and faultless . The service is excellent love that there is always something different on the menu, highly recommend it . We will definitely be returning regularly.xx

There is nowhere on earth we'd rather eat! We have been coming to Goodfellows for many years and it has never been less than wonderful. Shout out for the excellent sommelier, as well.

My partner and I had lovely time at the Olive tree . Louise was amazing and made me feel at ease with choosing GF options at lunchtime ,so much so ,we returned for dinner . Also a bug shout out to Jack , who was polite ,chatty and friendly . When we visit Wells again we will come back to this place . Lovely. Experience . .

Had lunch on the Saturday of the Wells Xmas Market. So very busy. However we (Table of 4) were very well looked after both in conversation and food presentation. Would strongly recommend !!

4 scallops as a main course? Enjoyed by three of us but we agree 6 should be the minimum, 7 fine and 8 scallops good. Overall enjoyed by all. A lovely space, very good cooking and excellent service.

The food was excellent best sea bass we have ever had. Service was very attentive. Good value for money on fixed christmas evening menu which they were kind enough to let us have at lunch time. Will be back very soon.
