Absolutely superb food and fantastic service, can’t fault it!

Honestly, one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. Food was utterly incredible, I don’t think I’m overstating when I say that the ox cheek was the best dish I’ve had in recent memory. Service, was warm, friendly, knowledgeable, engaged! Absolute pleasure to dine with!! Drinks paired fantastically with the food also, really completing the experience! Not only would I recommend visiting if you’re in the area, I’d recommend going out of your way to visit!!!

Our recent meal at 7B was excellent as usual, and the service was efficient, friendly and welcoming.

The food and recommended wines were the most beautiful combinations. Each course was described in a mouth watering manner. They were most attentive to us. We felt very pleasantly grateful for the whole experience. Well done!

We had a wonderful meal at The Olive Tree. Food was outstanding a very high level of cuisine, we both enjoyed a pre starter shared then a starter and main course, everything was super tasty. I only marked the service down as our waitress was abrupt but not in a rude way, just in a that’s the way she is way

We ate here with my parents on a weekend to celebrate my father's 80th birthday. The food was absolutely delicious, we were all extremely happy, and I was able to have the dish I wanted with a slight adaptation to meet my allergy needs (gluten and dairy). The service was great and the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere. We will definitely be returning.

Very enjoyable dinner at Goodfellows in Wells

We enjoyed a perfect lunch on Friday 1st Nov at Goodfellows. We had the 3 course ‘Nov menu’ . The food, the setting, the ambiance and the service were all first class. We’ll be back

Beautifully crafted food. High quality ingredients and unusual flavours cooked to order. Very flavoursome. Very enjoyable night out.

We’ve been there twice now for dinner when visiting Wells. The food is very well done, particularly the chocolate marquise dessert, which was excellent. Service very good and easy going atmosphere.

Great food and service

This is our fourth time at The Olive Tree and it was really excellent once again.

Our second visit to this restaurant, and this time we brought friends with us. Great menu choices and we were all happy with our starters and mains. As a non-meat eater, plenty of veg and fish choices. Service prompt and non-intrusive. We were given time to enjoy our meal. This restaurant will always be my first choice when i am in Wells.

Three of us had lunch and we all thoroughly enjoyed the occasion. The food was outstanding both in presentation and quality; it was some of the tastiest we had experienced for some time. The intimate surroundings really added to the atmosphere. We were looked after extremely well and would thoroughly recommend it - a restaurant not to be missed!
