We had a lovely Sunday roast, everything was beautifully cooked and presented with delicious flavours. The manager was very helpful regarding mixing a gluten free starter with the vegetables of the main dish. Many Thanks, we will come along again next time we visit Wells.

We went to the Olive Tree for Sunday lunch. We were served promptly and the food was delicious. We are very satisfied customers!

We enjoyed a great meal here on Saturday to finish our time in Wells on a high note, more so given the miserable, wet November day. The menu had some interesting choices e.g. Harissa Sardines, Skate Wing, which we thoroughly enjoyed. There is a good wine list (we chose a Picpoul) and local beers from Wookey Hole Brewery. The service was very friendly and helpful, and we were made to feel welcome from the outset. The prices were very reasonable given the quality of food on offer. Fortunately we had booked, as most tables were occupied during the evening. Definitely one to return to next time we visit Wells.

In Wells for carnival weekend and really enjoyed this restaurant. The food was delicious, my husband went full vegan, I had the chicken we were both pleased with our choices. Great atmosphere, staff delightful and food was great.

The food and service always excellent here. LOVE the fresh mussels from Brixham - good idea to pre-order as they go quickly.

Our Friday lunch of soup and fish and chips was excellent. Lovely friendly service, looking forward to eating there again.

Not the best day to attend Wells market given the rain/cold but thankfully we found our new favourite restaurant! We pre-booked a table (by the front window), and the food was perfect for a rainy day. My wife and I both had the beef bourguignon, full of meat and flavour followed by wonderful desserts from the two course lunch menu Good service and great value. We’ll be back!

We dined at the restaurant on Saturday night. It was our first visit, but it certainly won't be our last! The food was absolutely amazing, especially the onion bhaji starter- heavenly! I'm a vegetarian, and felt spoilt to have several choices for each course. My husband had the scallops for a starter, followed by the hake, which he said was lovely. Desserts were delicious. The atmosphere was great, and the staff, so friendly. We'll definitely be going back!

If you’re visiting Wells this is definitely THE place to eat.. really amazing freshly cooked tasty delicious food and great friendly staff… really recommend ❤️.

We had a family get together for 7 on a rainy Saturday lunchtime in late October. A lovely welcome and excellent service, with delicious , perfectly cooked food, would highly recommend!

Probably the best steaks we’ve had this year.

Excellent sunday lunch with top quality beef and chicken. The only slight disappointment was the yorkshire pudding which has taken a dip in quality compared to our last 3 visits.
