We had dinner in the courtyard with two friends visiting from France. We received a warm welcome, lovely service and fantastic food, beautifully presented. I am gluten intolerant, but didn’t have a problem here. We shall certainly return!

The staff were friendly with smooth efficient service. We will be back when we visit Wells but can highly recommend the Olive Tree to anyone visiting.

The Olive Tree Restaurant – WellsFive of us had dinner on a Saturday night. My meal was outstanding--one of the best I've had here in Wells. (I had the cauliflower tart.) Dessert was also superb. I was very satisfied with my meal. However, I will say the service was a bit chaotic. It seemed like maybe new hires were being trained for the summer and communication was not working well. But I trust those issues will be ironed out.
