Great venue, brilliant staff, foods amazing. A frequent place, thats chilled with a decent atmosphere.

Enjoyed a fabulous roast with friends yesterday. Generous portions of pink beef or lamb together with perfectly cooked veg and two types of potato; roast and dauphinois. The Yorkshire pudding with the beef was good. The lamb was served with traditional mint sauce but the vinegar was a bit on the acidic side. We opted for two desserts to share: a brulee and a chocolate and almond brownie which was disappointingly dry. Both desserts were 8.50 and I think we prob will skip them next time.

A fantastic roast dinner, I would say possibly the best in Swindon. Excellent value for money and really good portion size. Staff always super friendly. Sometimes I find it a bit chilly inside, but this weekend, the temperature in the building was perfect, nice and warm. We would highly recommend the Sunday Roast

Our first visit. Atmosphere was fun and informal. We were having a pre cinema meal as the cinema is next door. We allowed 1.5 hours to eat. The food was fine and so was value for money. The servers were polite and friendly but service itself was incredibly slow. It took ages for drinks to arrive and 45 minutes for 2 main meals and a side to arrive. We are quickly and ordered coffee with 25 minutes before we needed to leave. We chased up the coffee , having settled the bill and paid for the coffee we never got to drink it as it never reached our table. As we left the server holding our coffees said oh sorry. For that really wasn't good enough. Not sure we will return.

I visited the restaurant to celebrate my birthday. Although, my husband requested any table decorations for this occasion there was nothing on it and some food remains and crayons were on the floor under the table soo not a great experience at the first place. However, the staff was amazing, it was Saturday night so very busy, but we were served really well. Happy hours drinks were great, Margherita and Pornstar Martini were my favourite. Food was good too, I ordered main prawns which were delicious but my husband said that his flank steak wasn't great. Tapas as starters was tasty too however the portions could be a bit bigger. Anyway, we spent really nice time and likely will come back for more ☺️

Never had a bad meal here EVER. Staff are lovely, the atmosphere is so ambient…and the food….AMAZING! Love coming here.

Food and service as good as on previous occasions and that is why we go. Restaurant lighting could have been brighter at our table. We were in the corner.

Amazing as ever. I had the prawn tails to start which were just delicious. The chicken with cream, mushroom and tarragon sauce was exceptionally tasty, and the the potatoes are what just keep coming us coming back again and again. Love it here.

We had a lovely Sunday lunch here as a family with 2 babies. Everything was spot on the serving staff and chef were very accommodating especially for our toddler. The food was amazing and there was a good variety on the menu.

Had a fantastic meal at the ridge. Food was exceptional and the service from the members of the staff was great. Will 100% be returning.

Lovely friendly service food was good value for money huge portions. It was a little noisy as there were four large tables nearby but that’s the only criticism

Honest review, I was really looking forward to coming back to The Ridge after years of originally visiting. I had ordered the Ribeye and was disappointed that it simply tasted burnt. Like bad barbecue charcoal, I never complain but at £24.00 my wife did…. The waitress was super helpful and offered a complimentary dessert. Of course my wifes food was fine! I left hungry. She had fun though! I’ll be back an just ordering something else next time :)
