Great service good food great to see it back

Had a lovely lunch on Wednesday great food and good variety on menu. Will make here our regular Wednesday lunchtime haunt. Keep up good work really happy that you have re-opened.

Visited after many happy times with Karen & Dave (oh you are missed). I had Fish & Chips which was excellent. Wife had ham, egg & chips, again very good with excellent portions. Only black mark was no draught Arkles on Tuesday. A little surprised that Arkles allowed this to happen.

We returned on the opening weekend to a pub we loved several years ago. Sunday lunch was terrific, we both had the vegetarian nut roast, which was delicious, and very generous helpings of a variety of vegetables, served piping hot. After deciding not to have a dessert, my husband asked to just look at the menu, big mistake. I ended up having the delicious sticky toffee pudding and hubby had Baileys crème brûlée with homemade shortbread. Amazing! We will definitely be returning for a weekday lunch.

Hi visited Sunday 2nd Aug for Sunday roast I had the cchickens was plentiful and tasty lovely veg as well very pleased ,However my wife had the pork which was 70% fat 30 meat very disappointing for the price but everything else was lovely would still recommend the pub but dont have the pork.

Lovely atmosphere. Food a little bit dissapointing. Chilli nachos very great. The fish and chips fish better was soggy. The steak was very tough and chewy. Had coffee at the end which was cold which they were having trouble with the machine. I know it had just re opened but we couldnt even get a receipt!!!

We had a fantastic meal here and honestly couldn’t fault the food. The mains were amazing. The chicken fajitas were fabulous and came as a really generous portion. The only small criticism would be that you only get four wraps, which is absolutely fine, but there was quite a lot of filling left over compared to the number of wraps. The steak was also lovely, and the fries were fantastic, perfectly cooked and seasoned really well. We also tried a selection of tapas, including the mushrooms, calamari and prawns, and every single one was phenomenal. Everything was full of flavour, well presented and cooked perfectly. Overall, we had a brilliant experience and would definitely come back. Great food, generous portions and a really enjoyable meal!

What a fantastic restaurant. Incredible food wonderful staff who made everyone feel so welcome. A birthday celebration with 30 guests all food top quality and most delicious, will definitely be back very soon.

Great meal, in a lovely restaurant for a special occasion. The waiter and waitress were very professional and attentive, great teamwork.

Pleasant enough for a change. The vegetables put on the table were disappointing……boiled cabbage/carrots & courgettes. Who boils courgettes! Dauphinoise was fine, no need for additional roasted potatoes. The menu promised more than it delivered with flavour unfortunately. Service was attentive.
