Fantastic as always! Great to see the Ying Wah back open again and it’s looking amazing after the renovation. Food was delicious and service was second to none. All staff wore masks and social distancing rules still applied. Plastic shields separated tables which made us feel safer. Simon has done amazing and this isn’t just your average Chinese restaurant and with the new bar man making up cocktails and other special drinks it just adds to the experience. Can’t wait for next time.

Had an amazing meal yet again. This a time it was for a birthday. Excellent service as usual delicious food. Love the new style restaurant we have bewn in between lockdowns but now ita finished its amazing. Value for money always get the banquet b now known as the Ying Wah Platter. Love this place and will be returning pretty soon. Thank you Simon and staff x

The Ying Wah serves the best Chinese food by a mile, the staff are really friendly and helpful It’s also reasonably priced, Keep it up Ying Wah .

This was our first visit to the Ying Wah. We were attracted to their Vegetarian, Pescatarian and Gluten Free menu dishes which sounded different from the standard Chinese menu you find in a lot of Chinese restaurants. The food did not disappoint and was delicious and the service excellent. However, we feel we have to comment about the way some customers entered, left and walked around the restaurant without wearing a face covering and were not challenged by the staff. This made us feel uncomfortable and not as safe as we’ve felt in other COVID secure restaurants. Also, the restaurant’s refurbishment is still ongoing and there was only one toilet for everyone downstairs, which resulted in the non mask wearing individuals queuing up near other seated guests. Overall, food and service was great but hopefully management can improve their COVID secure processes.

Went for a meal on 22nd December at 6pm. Glad to be back at the Ying Wah. Amazing what you have done to the place its looking amazong guys and food is as fantastic as ever. Staff still amazing service amazing and having Tiger beer on draught was an added bonus. Missed this place for to long cant wait for our next visit both me and john where in our element and satisfied beyond belief. Well done Simon and staff. Value for money as ever.

It was wonderful to get back to the Ying Wah. Simon and his staff have made a massive effort for us to have a great evening and keep us safe. The food was amazing, great choice with generous helpings. Definitely will be back and highly recommend the restaurant .

Always look forward to going the Ying Wah, been going for years now always stick to the same meal. Steak because I know its always going to be nice and I enjoy it. Went last night and enjoyed it as always the staff are lovely. Simon's done a good job on the refurbishment, very modern interior would definitely recommend the Ying Wah you wont be disappointed whatever you order.

The Ying Wah has got to be the best Chinese restaurant around , not just excellent food but absolutely lovely staff, nothing is to much trouble, and it’s recent refurb is amazing as is Simon the owner,always try’s to accommodate , it is covid safe so you can relax, staff all masked up we wish them good luck especially during these difficult times Viv Pete & Vicki .

Went to the restaurant on 10th December the day after it was reopened.The food was really good but unfortunately the bench seats just had a throw over them which covered the hard wooden bench and was not padded and very uncomfortable.

The new look restaurant is amazing and Simon and his team mades us feel welcome as always. Somehow the food seems to have got better, maybe we have missed it so much. Without doubt the best Hot and Sour soup I have ever had.
