Been to the Ying Wah many times over the years, always a lovely meal and friendly staff. Service is very good.

On last three occasions have had the most awful experience. Two occasions with manager Phil extremely rude and bad attitude. Tonight Phil now has darling Stacy who in all honesty should not be around people. She is an absolute vile individual. I am 63 years old and because I refused to speak with her due to her extreme levels of rudeness she told me to leave the premises and she continued shouting after myself and son bye don't come back while laughing with Phil. Greene King you need to rid Allerton Hall of these two. If this is what you believe is management and represent your company well it leaves a lot to be desired. In my opinion I would by their behaviour class both of them as totally unemployable they are thugs and bullies. Remember bad review spread a lot faster than positive. Didn't need darling Stacy screaming after me not to return that decision had already been made. Absolutely disgusting behaviour. Pleasing to know how important your customers are to your business

pleasant staff eager to please, delicious food and a very tempting menu. myself and my two guests were very happy with the whole dining experience.

Myself and 5 friends had a great time. The staff were lovely and attentive. The food was average but the treatment we received made up for that. Unfortunately I didn't think to clarify that I'm disabled and we were seated upstairs which was a struggle for me but I managed. Thanks all at Ying Wah for making our evening a happy one.

Just had Sunday lunch at Caveau - such a lovely friendly restaurant - food is delicious - soup is so tasty I would go for soup to start with a main meal - Sunday roast with a choice of lamb beef or chicken - amazing flavours - then I couldn’t resist desert - the cheesecake is my favourite but a really good variety . House wine is so good - never tasted a better house wine - staff are all so calm and friendly such a great atmosphere great food and service at a very good price

Last week we celebrated a 80th birthday with 21 people and again Maria and her staff made the night special. Food was brought out altogether with no one waiting for their meal and was piping hot. Very welcoming staff and nothing is too much trouble. We look forward to our next fabulous night at Othellos

We have visited othello's on 3 occasions now the food is fantastic and the staff are very friendly we will continue to visit this great Greek restaurant and look forward to next time

Eight of us visited Othellos tonight to celebrate a birthday party. The restaurant was warm and had a great atmosphere. We all commented on how good the food was. The service was great. Maria couldn't do enough for us. We said how much we had enjoyed it and thanked the staff for their attention and service. We had a really great evening, and will definitely being back there again.

We came here last Saturday and were very disappointed in the quality of the food.The salmon was a very small portion served with a cold sweet potato which was microwaved! for this I was charged £16 !! I complained and was given another microwaved potato which was hard !! couldnt be bothered complaining again .This is unacceptable for a Simon Rimmer restaurant,surely you could oven bake the spuds?? most good restaurants dont even own a micowave.My partner ordered a burger which was nothing special and not worthy of the price.No wonder the place was only a third full,if the chef does not improve Its going to lose more customers.Other friends have been and were not impressed .Felt it necessary to tell you this so you can improve ,The staff were lovely and we still tipped them as it was not their fault.

Hard to believe that this restaurant has been fantastic for at least 20. years I have been going there for 20 years and my daughter who is now 25 has been going with us since she was 5. There are other Chinese restaurants in liverpool that are good however for my extended family and friends this is the very best there is.
