The food at Othellos is fantastic and very authentic. The beetroot/garlic starter & Kleftico are especially nice. The host and the rest of the staff are very friendly, with a very relaxed atmosphere. Definitely go back again! 10 out of 10

Had a great evening at Othellos on Sun 17th May to celebrate my birthday, excellent food, good wine and good service, would recommend a visit you will not be disappointed. Thanks Maria & Gerry

visited this amazing building this weekend, the food was not far from amazing too, we had a big choice to make from the menu and most come under the offer of 2 meals for £10.00, we opted for the sausage and mash and a rodeo burger, what a great choice. the drinks were a bit pricey but what we saved on the meals we didn't mind. the manger didn't catch her name but she couldn't do enough for us, we would definitely go again and again

othellos has been a wonderful surprise and something of a second home. Ive lived in the area for 20 years listening to the awful rumours about the Greek place on the hill. What a transformation when Maria and Gerry took over! I bring friends, family and colleagues who love the super FRESH FOOD, great SERVICE and easy unhurried atmosphere EPHARISTO POLI.

My girlfriend and I have been to Othello's many times and I have just one word......AMAZING!!! The staff, service and food are superb. This has to be one of the finest restaurants in Liverpool. I cant recommend it enough!

Celebrated my Dad's 60th here a couple of weekends ago and had a great time. We had a feast and the staff coped with our large table excellently. Thank you.

This has to be one of the worse eating places I have ever been in. Grubby tables, bad table service, and food absolutely awful, so bad I wouldn't give it to the dog, over an hour wait to get food, no heating on etc etc. In short never again, EVER!

my wife and i visited othellos last night and as we are regular visiters to greece and eat at greek restaurants at home on a regular basis we see ourselves as quite aware what is good and what is not in greek quesine.the service was first class the restaurant was spotless and inviting and the chef and his staff are superb. the food was well presented, the choice was huge and the all round restaurant gets 10 out of 10 . thanks for a great night, george and christine.

Allerton Hall ( Pub in the Park ) is very near to me. I used to frequent the establishment once a week or more during the Summer months. My last visit was last week 15/2/09. I was left gobsmacked at how down hill the restaurant has gone since my last visit before Christmas. My food was cold, took about 40 mins to arrive, and you can just tell, that the ingredients are all frozen and cooked by inexperienced staff. I do not think I will be frequenting this establishment again. It is such a pity this place has gone down hill as it could be such a lovely place to dine. I would rather pay triple the money and get the rif raf out, rather than pay and sit watching these places go into the ground. Please someone bring some hope and let me and my family enjoy dining again at Allerton hall.

This is our second year on the run we have had our Works Xmas Lunch at Othello's, we are in the Finance area of a large retail company based in Speke, 30-40 people went this year we would highly recommend Othello's as their hospitality and food are second to none. Lunch time opening for large parties is a great idea.

The food is always an enjoyable experience and I managed to finish all 18 courses because it was so nice!! You get service with a smile and there is always a good atmosphere here. You do feel like you have had a really good night out when you choose Othellos. We will be back again before Christmas.

Went to Othellos last night. Wasnt impressed. Firstly the restaurant is gorishly decorated in 80s greek decor, very old fashioned. Ramsay would have a field day. On looking at the menu, the prices shocked me. 12.50 for a lamb kebab and a few sausages, and a starter of tzatsiki with a few bits of pita bread pushing onto 4/5 pound. The food standard was similar to that of Kimos or other fast food cafes. I felt it was over priced, however it was tasty and a substantial portion. I wont be going back due to the over prices for the same standard of food I could go to Smithdown Road for half the price.

Absolutely filthy. Toilets must not have been cleaned in about 5 years. Never again.

Been several times now, never disappointed, great food, very friendly staff, our friends like it as well. Will definitely dine here again and again. Will recommend it to all our friends.

We have been to most of the Greek restaurants in Liverpool and then found this place. It's that good, we won't go to any other Greek now. We always go for the meat meze which is absolutely gorgeous. Everything about Othello's is spot on, it's set in a nice quite area, the food is devine (no small portions either), good selection of drinks, and the staff are very friendly, even if the place is busy you are not made to rush. Excellent value for money.
