Ying Wah Restaurant – WooltonAbsoloutely fabulous!! great dining experience. Food wonderful, staff lovely. Reasonably priced. Great, Great place!!
Holdi Restaurant Bar and Lounge – WooltonNice family run buisness been going for years. Never had to complain about the food service and food always outstanding full of flavour.
Othellos – WooltonI visited this new restaurant last week and I was very pleasantly surprised. The staff gave us a warm friendly welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The interior is bright and very attractive. The food we ordered arrived promptly. The poppadums were crisp and fresh and the dips were delicious. My curry looked and tasted wonderful and it was piping hot. I really enjoyed my first visit to Holdi restaurant and I look forward to going back soon.
Holdi Restaurant Bar and Lounge – WooltonL25 5JL is the correct postcode for this lovely pub, but it's nowhere near the city centre. It's in the village of Woolton. And the beer and food are excellent.
The White Horse – WooltonVisited Othello's with my partner this evening and enjoyed the most fresh and finely cooked meal I've had in a restaurant for a long time. We shared fresh greek dips, Greek salad mixed with olives and amazing feta cheese and hot pitta bread to start followed by traditional chicken keebabs. The food was perfect and the chicken just melted in your mouth! Fabulous service too. We'll definitely be visiting Othello's again soon!
Othellos – WooltonWent there this week. The place was deserted and we felt a bit lost. It's obviously very old,but it is spotlessly clean.Wasn't impressed with the pensioners menu, very boring and i thought maybe we had made a mistake. However we ordered steak and chips, the steak very well done. It was perfect. Usually well done means dry and toughbut this was lovely and the chips would be worth going back for alone. Going to be a regular of ours i think.
The Crying Tree – WooltonI went to this restaurant as it was a newly opened establishment in our area. Always expect maybe a few teething problems with new places but this was first class. Not only was the food out of this world, but the staff were fun, happy and very hardworking. Considering it is ramadam and the staff are fasting, they were absolutely fantastic. The interior is gorgeous and this new restaurant, will be around for many years to come. Honestly, the food and some of the flavours me and my boyfriend experienced were like nothing we've ever tasted before. And there were footballers in the next booth, so that kept my chap happy!!!
Holdi Restaurant Bar and Lounge – WooltonVisited on first weekend of opening, excellent decor and nice atmosphere about the place.Staff very friendly, the menu is varied with old favourites and the new type Indian meals, excellent startersand also nice to see chapati on the menu.Overall a very enjoyable meal in the heart of Woolton village
Holdi Restaurant Bar and Lounge – WooltonI have been here a few times but was rather disappointed at the last visit on Saturday evening. We arrived at the pub at 6.35 and ordered quite quickly but then waited until 7.25 before the food arrived, I did complain and asked to speak to the manager who thought that a half hour wait was quite acceptable and was not really interested. When the food did arrive the lamb was nice but the gammon tough and the sausages under cooked. The food is quite expensive for what it is. Unlikely to return again.
Bear and Staff – WooltonThe Ying Wah had been recommended to me and my family as a value for money, great food, Chinese restaurant, I was so disappointed with the food, everything was bland, the barbecue rib sauce was watered down, the only thing that I can say that had any taste was the egg fried rice, but there wasn't much of it, we ordered a banquet for 2? yet was only given 1 dish of everything, I don't think this is value for money?, I believe when you order for 2 you should be given a meal for 2!. I cannot fault the staff they were nice, but I don't like feeling that I have been ripped off and that was how we felt when we left the restaurant last night, we will not be going back to the Ying Wah and I will definitely not be recommending this restaurant to anyone.
Ying Wah Restaurant – WooltonI have been to this restaurant with my wife and as a party of 40 plus. I can only say that I have never been disappointed as the food and service are excellent.. Well recommended.. go one treat yourself.
Othellos – WooltonWe went for the first time last night and what an excellent meal. I used to eat at L'Alouette quite often and was very sad when it closed, however now I'm delighted we have this restaurant in Woolton. We ate from the Table D'Hote menu at £16.95 for 2 courses and the food was absolutely top notch. We took our 2 children who were made to feel very welcome, even though this is a very elegant restaurant, we didn't feel any issues with having children with us. The made a very superior sausages, mash
Caveau – WooltonThis was my first visit to Caveau and it certainly will not be the last. The service and ambience was very good and the food was excellent my only gripe would be that the prices they charge you should not have to pay for extra vegetables there should be a complementary bowl of them!
Caveau – WooltonAgree with all of above: excellent food and very pleasant atmosphere. Sadly, what should have been a great evening was spoiled by poor service. Hope this will be sorted very soon!
Caveau – WooltonI am with the first comment , i used to eat at L'Alouette so it is a welcome addition to Woolton a fine quality place to dine, enjoyed a lovely evening a couple of weeks ago, fab food, great service, going again this Sunday . mmmm
Caveau – WooltonMostly in agreement about the food, but not about all the front-of-house staff. The two youngsters waiter and waitress were good. But the female maitre d' was haughty and condescending. The young waiter was superb, his counterpart tried hard. It seems to specialise in banquets but the barbecue sauce was insipid.
Ying Wah Restaurant – Wooltongood food
