This is,by a mile,the best Greek in Liverpool.It is very good value for money.The atmosphere is very authentic and the owners are so welcoming.It is nice to be remembered when you return,which you will.I visit Greece often and othellos makes me feel I am back there. The food is really lovely and served quickly and is always fresh.It is nice to be able to see the chef preparing your meal, which you do in othellos.There is no cheesy plate smashing in othellos so you know your romantic meal will not be spoilt!! Go to othellos and be sure you will have a great evening with fine food and friendly staff. The veggie selection is excellent too!

The King do is absolutly shite

This is by far the best Greek restaurant in Liverpool. If you love Greek food then give this a try, the food is amazing, it is cooked to perfection. My husband and i have been going to this restaurant for years now, and we are never disappointed. Marie and Gerry make you feel very welcome, the food is to die for and the atmosphere is amazing. I would recommend the Othellos special every time ! Give this a try without a doubt !

I have been going to the ying wah for years , the staff are great the food is great and a great place to take the family , they make you feel at home.

I visited your restaurant on Saturday 13th February with my girlfriend ( we were the ones that were an hour early) and I just wanted to say thank you for a brilliant evening! The food was brilliant, especially the recommendation for me to change my main course, the atmosphere was great and it was very reasonably priced! I can see why it is so popular to eat with you. Thanks once again, you helped make a first visit to Liverpool a brilliant experience.

I love the ying wah. Its in my top 3 restaurants. The special fried rice is amazing. I have been going there now for many years (even had a birthday meal in there). The staff are amazing so friendly and helpful yet just leave you to enjoy your meal. You don't feel rushed in here were in some restaurants you feel as if there trying to rush you out the door for the next customer. Will be there again this weekend. Looking forward to it

Last night was our second visit to Othello's and again we came away very well pleased. Having read the previous recommendations we can appreciate the positive comments. Some of our party have visited Greece many times and are well aware of Greek cuisine, our meals at Othello's have been examples of the best ones. We make no attempt here to describe individual courses but would mention that Gery was willing to provide a dish that was not on the more than adequate menu. The restaurant is very tastefully decorated (background Greek music was playing during our visits), and although this web site states that the restaurant was completely refurbished in 2006, the interior has a fresh appearance and may have seen more recent work. Perhaps not for those intimate dates, the room is open plan, but if you are looking for a friendly, respectable establishment, with top of the range authentic Greek food, then here it is.

An authentic Greek meal is hard to come by but that is exactly what husband and wife team Gerryand Maria provide for their customers. Their restaurant is friendly, welcoming and well cared for: the portions are generous and the menu varied and appetising. The service is as good as the food and all all a really good place to spend a pleasant evening. Enjoy!

Great Chinese restaurant . Friendly clean and good food . Excellent early buffet as well

We were very impressed with the location of the restaurant, set in quiet countryside. We ordered two steak meals and ice cream, all this represents great value for £10. The service was very good and the quality excellent.

What can I say - best Meze in the Business, we keep saying we will have something else, but the Meze is that good we choose it every time!! Gerry really is the best Greek Chef and we are lucky to have this restaurant on our doorstep. We are regular visitors to Greek and Cyprus and his Meze is by far the best. Maria is smashing too, all in all a great double act - do yourself a favour and go to Othellos you will not be disappointed.

I would like to thank you all for making my Mum's 80th birthday a really memorable one on the 3rd October. We had a fantastic time and Maria, Gerry and Paddy(?) made such an amazing impression on us all. The food was simply brilliant and the bottle of ouzo hit the spot for most of us! The kleftiko was as good as I’ve had, even the ones I’ve had in Greece! I didn’t realise but we were in the restaurant for 4 hours but the time flew by and we weren’t hurried out at all. We must have got really loud at the end as well, oops sorry! If I lived closer I would be in there every week, it was that good, but alas I will now have to wait for Christmas. We had an amazing evening in Othello's on Saturday 19th September 2009. A party of 26 celebrated my brothers 40th birthday with fine wines, excellent food in a fantastic friendly atmosphere. The service we received was first class. Everybody enjoyed themselves and all spoke highly of Othello's. We cannot believe we have such a "High quality" class restaurant on our door step, it's a must for all to try! You done us proud Othello's! Thank you for making Steven's 40th birthday very memorable x

We have been visiting Othelos for a few years now while Gerry and Maria have been managing the restaurant and everytime we have been the food and service is always amazing. We also have friends that visited us and we took them there and they loved it so much. Would recommend this restaurant to anybody. We visit Kefalonia every year and it remind us of our wedding. Hope to see you soon both.

The best pub food in Liverpool. Everything is "home made" on the premises, even REAL chips. Favorites of our family include slow cooked ham shank, fish and chips, cottage pie and even the chicken curry. Good real ale too, heaven. Prices are pretty good too.

Good food at great prices, particularly the early evening banquet. Our favorite local restaurant, the ribs and the sweet and sour are superb.

My family is originally from Liverpool, but now live in York, Manchester and North Wales. However, as often as we can, we return home specifically to visit Othellos, truly the BEST Greek restaurant we've ever come across. The food is fantastic, so fresh and authentic. And the venue, staff and atmosphere is excellent too. You won't be disappointed, I can assure you.
