Very tasty, goats cheese salad starter. Sea bass a little over cooked but also tasty. Coffee and tea in the interval. We do visit quite often so a main course change would be nice. It is very convenient and the staff are VERY helpful

The meal and service were excellent as was the location and ambiance. Being able to go back to your restaurant table for the interval to eat the sweet is excellent. Highly recommended.

There were four of us, we enjoyed an excellent meal, well priced and the service provided by the manager who was on his own was also very good and pleasant. We had a lovely night. Thank you.

Great food, a more frequent change of menu would be appreciated.

I think I must have visited on an ‘off’ night. The bistro was almost empty. We had a very long wait for food - over half an hour and then it arrived barely hot and both dishes extremely salty. I couldn’t eat much of mine. My friend struggled through. We did complain and the waitress was very apologetic. No time for dessert before the show. No adjustments were made for dietary requirements despite emailing before hand. It was a very poor ‘show’ and I would be reluctant to eat here again.

It really makes a great evening to have a meal as well as seeing a show. We love the Scene Bistro, always a nice selection on the menu, great presentation of food and so tasty. Friendly staff and simple decor gives a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. This has been a lovely treat for us for years. Always feels special and yet familiar. Last visit - pie and mash and a large glass of white wine - what's not to like.

We enjoyed our pre-theatre meal: the main course of roast duck breast was especially good, though we thought its accompanying forcemeat ball didn’t add much. The vegetables were interesting, tiny mushrooms and nicely cooked kale. The lemon posset that followed was a generous portion and a delicious end of the meal.

Super food. vegan options were absolutely delicious. Service was friendly and efficient. Thoroughly recommend and so convenient for visiting the theatre.

Excellent foods, and excellent service!!!

Food presented very well but not cheap waitresses more chat than knowledge about the drinks. comfy seating not too cluttered . As a person with limited mobility the dining in the theatre complex is ideal making the whole experience enjoyable.

Food and service both good

I attended the Theatre with friends to watch 12 Angry Men. The pre show food was absolutely delicious and the service top notch. The menu choice for both food and drink was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and would highly recommend it.

We had lunch before visiting the cinema and allowed an hour and a half. We had two vegan burgers and one vegitarian burger all if which were excellent and very tasty. The service was friendly and knowledgeable and the food was served after about 25 minutes and was fresh and hot. Would definitely recommend and will be coming for lunch again soon.

Pleasantly surprised . Normally before going to the Theatre we eat in one of the restaurants nearby but decided to try the Scene restaurant for its convenient location in the Theatre. Atmosphere a bit minimal but service excellent . Limited menu choice but the dishes we had were well prepared , looked attractive on the plate and were enjoyable to eat. We had 3 courses no complaints about any of them, my wife who had been hesitant about coming was won over and is happy to come again. Menu is shortly changing lets hope quality is maintained. Excellent quality Not too many choices Good service Nice atmosphere.

We came for a matinee performance with a small family group and as ever, the food and atmosphere was great. Food was served in a timely fashion and the bill was presented with plenty of time for us to settle up and get to our seats without rushing.
