Norton Grange Tavern Table – EveshamVery good value for money, 2 for £8 during the week, shame it's not extended to weekends but hey. Meals are large enough to satisfy and you don't leave feeling as if you wasted your money on a pile of horse manure :) they also do a Curry night on a Wednesday evening which the other half and I are going out to try tonight!...well recommended, although I would say if you have kids, take a drink for them as the kids drinks are a little on the pricey side.
Copcut Elm Hungry Horse – DroitwichWe visited the Swan on Saturday after a lovely stroll around the picturesque village of Broadway. The place has a modern yet rustic feel. the food was good. We chose from the set menu. The service was very slow, however it was explained to us professionally, that they were a man down that day. I would recommend this place.
The Swan in Broadway – EveshamExcellent freshly cooked food with many imaginative dishes. Currently doing 3 courses for £10 plus supplements for some dishes. Usually gets packed, even midweek - so book. No, I am not trying to hype it but think that this standard of food should be applauded and worthy of a little of my time in appreciation.
Crown Inn – Pershorefantastic fantastic
Nevill Arms The – RedditchYou may need to book or go early to eat here as it's popular and gets busy. The staff are always welcoming and very polite. In our experience the service is always of excellence and the food well prepared. The ambience in the restaurant has always been pleasant and a pleasure to return to time and again. Go try for yourself.
Bano Phool – Bromsgroveabsolute rubbish dont bother with it
The Cricketers – WorcesterI have tried this place three times; once to eat in and twice for takeaway. Each time it has left a lot to be desired so it wasn't a case of catching them on an "off night". Staff are surly and the last takeaway I had, a Chicken Biyriani, was truly awful ! Like someone had thrown it up rather than cooked it....
Deedar – BromsgroveI prefer the Miu Miu at Marlbrook (diagonally opp.the Marlbrook Pub). Excellent service, quality and very generous servings.
Happy Valley – BromsgroveBog standard deep fried fayre. I wouldn't bother
Wyche Inn – MalvernHidden away at the end of Boat Lane, this place is well worth finding. The bread pudding is legendary, the full English breakfast a world of its own and the Sunday carvery the best for miles.
Raphaels Restaurant – EveshamThe Three Crowns & Sugar Loaf Is a Brilliant Family Pub To Go To. There Are Many Offers Going On Throughout The Week For In stance Curry Club (Wednesday) Steak Night (Thursday) & Golden Greats. Its Affordable && Great Quality. The Food Is Quick & The Staff Are Very Friendly. If You're Children Get Bored Easily Then They Are Able To Play On The Playground Outside Or Colour We Go Every week :D
Three Crowns and Sugar Loaf – KidderminsterExceptionally Welcoming. Food is lovely as well as the staff being very friendly.
Oak Tree – BromsgroveMy husband and I visited Monsoon in Worcester without booking ahead on a quiet week night after being attracted by its modern and attractive exterior. We entered by the back door and passed the delicious-looking buffet table on the way through to the main restaurant and I must say we were very much looking forward to trying it, as we'd never had an Indian buffet before. However, the young waiter that met us as we came in did not even acknowledge us with so much as a smile, let alone a 'Hello and welcome'. He simply indicated that we should follow him through and he showed us a table in the main restaurant and handed us a couple of menus. Still, he did not speak to us, but started folding our napkins ready for our use. As he was doing so he spotted someone he obviously recognised as they passed the restaurant and ran to the window to look on after them. Admittedly, at this point of the evening, Monsoon was far from busy: indeed, we were the only customers at theis point, but our waiter acted as if we weren't there either! He then left us for who knows where. The older barman saw that we were ready to order and asked us what we would like. When we said we'd like to try the buffet, he tutted and said "Oh, you're not sposed to be here; the buffet's in the back. Didn't he [the waiter] say?" We had to reply that he hadn't said a single word to us. The older gentleman apologised and showed us through to the ante-room where the buffet was. The food, we have to say, was delicious, tasty and had a good array of traditional and more modern Indian dishes. However, my husband noticed that the naan breads were cold: when this was spotted by the older waiter he offered to replace the breads with fresh ones, which we were grateful for. 20 minutes later, though, neither the waiter or the naan breads were apparent, so we did without. We continued to enjoy the rest of our food accompanied with a couple of Indian Lagers. The bill came to £24.60 and my husband and I discussed whether we would be leaving a tip due to the poor service thus far. At this point, our earlier, younger waiter returned to collect our payment. He picked up the £25 and simply asked "Do you want the change back?" !!!!!!!! I have to say my husband replied "No, don't worry about it". We usually tip much more generously but the service at Monsoon was awful and severely lets down the lovely food. It seems that Monsoon is trading on its trendy decor and good menu but has let its service slip to very poor standards. I am afraid to say that, despite the food, we will not be returning.
Monsoon Restaurant – WorcesterA thoroughly enjoyable evening. The new decoration and soft leather chairs has really taken the initial impression of Creations to a higher level. The food is of a very high quality, both cooked and presented perfectly. I can not recommend this little restaurant too much - Thank you for a wonderful evening, will definitely be back just as soon as possible.
AD Gustum – Stourport On SevernCalled in to the "Why Not" today as passing trade. The food was excellent and the size of the meals were generous to say the least, piping hot and tasty. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Although the decor wasn't as "posh" as one of the pubs further down the road, it was clean and even the ladies toilet had hand washing liquid, hand cream etc and paper towels. What's more the food was about half the price of the "posher" pub. If I get the chance I will go back and take my friends with me. Thanks veery much "Why not" staff. By the way I am no relation to anyone at this pub and have never been there before. I am happily going to give them my e-mail address as I will be interested to hear of anything they have to offer in the future and may even consider them for a future party.
