Scene – MalvernA lovely start to the evening, the food is alway delicious and a good range of choices. The staff are friendly and helpful
Scene – MalvernFood was amazing and they attended to our dietary requirements beautifully
Scene – MalvernNice relaxing experience, ideal way to start an evening at the theatre.
Scene – MalvernWe often eat at the Scene pre theatre. The food is good and reasonably priced ad the staff are pleasant abd efficient. The menu changes frequently enough for it not to become boring and there are gluten free dishes for my wife, though often gluten free deserts are lacking (bar a tub of icecream) the only thing I would change is being able to have a coffee and dessert during the show interval rather than all before the event. other than that we will continue to use and enjoy.
Scene – MalvernService and welcome was excellent The food namely the carvery was out of this world good size portions and refreshing beverages.i cannot fault. Bravo!!!!!!
The Golden Goose – RedditchService and food both excellent. Good generous portions and variety of vegetables
Scene – MalvernDisappointed by the service. We were seated at 6.00 and struggled to get our dessert in time for 730 performance. This despite a less than full crowd. Food was quite mediocre especially the vegetables. The staff are friendly and atmosphere good. We will try again and hope for a better experience.
Scene – MalvernThe food was lovely and the atmosphere was very friendly.
Scene – MalvernThree of us booked for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Good food and atmosphere, served by helpful, pleasant staff. We highly recommend a visit. Martin Bradley
Scene – MalvernGo to Scene regularly before a visit to theatre. The atmosphere is good, the staff are efficient and welcoming.
Scene – MalvernReally disappointed-Saturday 26/10. Food served not the same as the menu and not so much as an apology. We will probably go elsewhere next time. Just not good enough.
Scene – MalvernA last minute decision to have a carvery and it was a good one. I ordered a king-size meal and was not disappointed. The meats were incredibly tender and a great selection of vegetables, too. Big fluffy Yorkshires and tasty pigs in blankets topped with a delicious gravy. The staff were brilliant, as I'm disabled and they made my visit most enjoyable . I will certainly be back in the near future.
The Golden Goose – RedditchWe’ve been to The Golden Goose a few times and every time have had great friendly service from all staff and the food is of excellent quality. Will definitely keep going!
The Golden Goose – Redditchexcellent way to start a theatre evening
Scene – MalvernThe scene is situated within Malvern Theatres and is a ideal restaurant for a pre show dinner. We have eaten there frequently and have always found the food excellent, catering well for my wife's gluten intolerance. the service is always first class and prices reasonable. the menu changes with the seasons and we have never been disappointed.

Scene – MalvernOn 10.10.24 I brought 2 friends to Malvern Theatres to listen .to the poet laureate, Simon Armitage. As we had travelled from Birmingham, I decided to treat them to meal in the Scene. We arrived on time (6.30) to find no one to greet us. Eventually we were shown to our table and our order was taken. After a long wait our starter arrived. Another long wait and our main courses arrived. I chose a lamb dish. Which I was horrified to taste . I A pastry case with some filling of something. Goodness knows what. At the end of our meal we felt we had be abandoned. We were told that their was no time for dessert as it was only 10 minutes before the talk began. I paid for what we had eaten and left. The normal manager was not there and this was a repeat of the service I have previously experienced with my husband. We are regular visitors to the theatre and find that the service in Scene(when the male manager is absent well below standard) The menu is not inspiring. Such a shame for such a lovely theatre.
