The food is always interesting and tasty, excellent cakes too. Friendly service and a nice setting. Looking forward to our next visit.

I ate here with my family as a celebration for Mothers' Day. I had the beetroot salad with goats cheese croquettas. The whole dish was delicious. I also tried the raspberry cordial and that was very good. We all tried something different and I can honestly say that the meals were all very different and very tasty.

My mum and I came for a light lunch on Friday afternoon and the place was packed. Great atmosphere, great food and great service. Would come again. Prices suggest this might be more of a treat for us. Keen to try breakfast on another visit. Highly recommend the toasties and the hot ginger cordial.

Love this place, excellent food, lovely staff, great atmosphere

Had a lovely lunch here yesterday. Lovely atmosphere and beautifully prepared tasty vegan (and gluten free) food! Well done that a cafe, at an animal rescue centre is vegan + veggie. It’s sometimes difficult for me to get both vegan and gluten free options together but I do have choices here. Really nice to finish our visit with our dog (yes dog friendly too) around Ferne’s woodland walk on a lovely day. I also think the shop has great gifts, incl dog and cat accessories and jars of preserves and pickles. All proceeds towards their rescued animals.

Good was delicious fresh and well presented. It was vibrant and full of flavour. The service was fast and friendly but not rushed at all. Whilst it would be fair to say the price point could be considered at a mid range I would expect nothing less for the high quality produce which was delivered on each dish. 10/10 recommended to anyone seeking a nutritious fresh plate of wholesome food.

It was my birthday and friends from London decided to take me out for lunch. It was a Monday and there are not many places open. I chose Olive. They were very impressed with the food, the decor and service.

Three superb tasty lunches.

Brilliant food in a lovely space. The Saturday evening Meze and grill was fantastic - loads of dishes and they all tasted amazing. I was a bit sceptical about the beef brisket...but it turned out to be my favourite - really tender and beautifully spiced. Friendly service and we were near the fire, so nice and warm! The cakes look like works of art, but I was too full to try this time.

Relaxed lunch with excellent food, service and surroundings

I've eaten here a couple of times now and it is utterly delicious! The setting is fabulous and the staff are absolutely lovely! There is a real range of delicious food! Have been recommending to everyone and it's my new favourite place! You won't be disappointed!

Second visit , exceptional food , service , friendly welcoming staff. And all in a good cause makes it just perfect .

Love this place any way but the mothers day lunch was fantastic they emailed me and we're really helpful with menu for children then we arrived a little earlier than we booked not problem they quickly got our table ready then the waiting staff were amazing as always very friendly and helpful and the food was fabulous 8 people on our table most had different dishes everyone said it was brilliant well done Union street you finished our wedding weekend perfectly thank you definitely booking next time xxx

Fantastic restaurant for a a family get together. Highly recommended and will be returning again soon.
