Olive Kitchen and Bar – YeovilLovely food, great atmosphere and good service. Touch priceier than other places but large portions of great food!
Olive Kitchen and Bar – YeovilFood is great, staff are very friendly. Always bring my friends here because it’s different. Parking is easy. So glad I was introduced to Olives.
Olive Kitchen and Bar – YeovilLove this place. Food is good and staff friendly and helpful. I visit regularly, both with friends/family but also on my own. Never been disappointed by a meal. The menu is just a little bit different from many lunchtime venues.
Olive Kitchen and Bar – YeovilAbsolutely gorgeous food. So much flavour will definitely be back
Olive Kitchen and Bar – YeovilLovely afternoon tea
Union Street Brasserie – YeovilWe had a very enjoyable Sunday lunch here yesterday. The atmosphere and surroundings were very relaxing and the food quality and quantity were excellent. The staff were pleasant and friendly. All in all a great experience.
Union Street Brasserie – YeovilVery good. Have been before and this time just as good. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. Would recommend.
Olive Kitchen and Bar – YeovilFirstly, the food was delicious. I brought my mother for her birthday lunch on a cold January day. The restaurant was about half full and having eaten there before and enjoyed it was looking forward to our meal. The restaurant is more or less a tent, very delightful, and we were seated along the front side near the “windows”. The log burner was on and the temperature was initially comfortable. However service was pretty slow and as no one refilled the log burner, the two of us got colder and colder as we waited for our food. Admittedly it was a very cold day, but if attention had been paid to the heater and we had stayed warm, we would have liked to enjoy a cake and a coffee for desert but we were too cold to stay any longer. My mum is normally quite fussy and she thoroughly enjoyed the braised beef while I thought the wrap I had was delightful. It won’t put us off going again in warmer months but a slightly faster service and warmer ambience would make a big difference. Plus, more vegan options, which would be very easy to do with this style of menu, would be a bonus.
Olive Kitchen and Bar – YeovilI have been happily using USB for many years. I have never had a problem with food or service. Everything is very tasty. The staff are all welcoming. I hope to visit again very soon.?
Union Street Brasserie – YeovilExcellent service, but the food offering was a little limited. My choice of Hake was tasty enough, but the portion was on the small side for £21.
Olive Kitchen and Bar – YeovilLovely food, great service and a wonderful, relaxing environment. The hot apple drink was especially good. Can’t recommend it enough.
Olive Kitchen and Bar – YeovilFood delicious as. Usual I enjoy the changing menu. Service a little slow
Olive Kitchen and Bar – YeovilI usually patronise USB with girlfriends for coffee and cake. Always a very pleasant experience. However yesterday we came for lunch. Not an experience I intend to repeat. Our server appeared totally disinterested and unable to understand one of our orders. Service was very slow. The fish and chips were mediocre to say the least. My guests assured me that their food was fine but did remark about the standard of service. So unfortunately you lost out on possible future customers through his actions. Such a shame. Loyal customers are hard to find and every customer is an opportunity for future business.
Union Street Brasserie – YeovilI booked a table for three yesterday for Sunday lunch as previously been on numerous occasions and had a great meal. Yesterday was a disaster. O e of our group ordered soup then they were having beef and the other two were having small lamb. The waitress asked did he want his soup first to which he said yes. The she brought out his soup and beef dinner and said it my fault I forgot you wanted soup first. She then proceeded to bring the two lambs out. I said you can take the beef back because the meal will get cold . She proceeded to do this. The lamb was very tuf as was the beef after he eventually got it. I will come back again as I have never had a bad meal and can only think it was just a bad day.
Union Street Brasserie – YeovilExcellent ambience and excellent food all brought together by the very friendly staff, been before always very consistent
