Firstly, the exterior looks a bit shabby and although it looks as if they've tried to make the entrance a bit nicer it is let down massively by the flaky paintwork and very outdated and dirty bathroom. The service was superb, all of the staff were friendly and smiling and on the ball with plates and drinks. The food for the most part was fresh and hot and tasted really good. Lots of variety and different tastes to choose from. Rice was cooked to perfection, noodles tasted divine, as did the duck pancakes. Wasn't too impressed with the sweet n sour chicken as there was more batter than meat but it was still hot and edible. Great selection of puddings, sweets and chocolate fountain and lots of choice for drinks, although very disappointed that the bottomless soda has gone. Only complaint with the desserts was the soaking of fruit in vinegar, tastes gross, please stop! Overall great experience and good value for money, just need to focus on the appearance and cleanliness of the exterior and the bathrooms (especially the bottom of the hand dryers, as I did worry I might catch something from them. )

Excellent experience as ever at this lovely establishment whenever we visit York. Friendly and attentive service from all the staff and top quality food yet again when attending with two of our daughters on this holiday break.

We have enjoyed coming to Panda Mami for years and our kids love it, but to be honest it is getting too expensive for it to be a feasible treat except on very rare occasions. I understand that the prices of everything have gone up, but getting rid of the refillable soft drinks, for example, means that an expensive meal becomes even more so. The food is good and we always enjoy trying something new, and the waiting staff are lovely.

Staff at reception and waiters were lovely however some of the chefs on the live cooking were just tough and came across as rude especially the guy on bbq section. Although there are clear dietary labels on each dish, this particular guy didn't want to help when I asked for clarity. Also he gave me the look of 'don't ask for more and don't come again'. Otherwise wide variety of food options with acceptable quality.

My son and I dinned on Sunday evening we have been a few times over the years always enjoyed, but found this year the best with a higher standard of different foods and staff were very helpful and kind.. Many thanks for a lovely evening we will return soon.

Came here on Saturday night for a meal with friends. Couldn’t fault the food there was a great range and it was topped up when running low. The service was good but paying was a little slow. Overall it was good value for money and there was something for everyone. I have been several times in the past and will return . Would definately recommend.

We ate here on Monday evening. Food was lovely and plenty of choice. Would definitely recommend a visit if you visit York. We will be returning on our next visit
