We always book Oscars when visiting York. As usual, we were not disappointed. First class service with a smile and very attentive as always. The food was also top notch as ever. 10/10... can't criticise perfection.

Lovely as always

Booked a table for 18 people for a team meal across 2 organisations. The staff were very welcoming and the food was excellent. A number of the team have remarked since how reasonable the prices were and how good the food was too. Nobody had any complaints, which is quite a think for a group of 18 to be unanimously positive. Overall, very good,

My partner & I ate here last night. Loads of choice and the food hot and fresh, couldn't ask for more. Staff friendly and attentive. Excellent value for money if this way again would definitely go back.

The food was really nice and staff friendly. The toilets could do with a deep clean, not nice and smelly. The walkway getting to the front door also is filthy dirty and smelly. First impressions et el.

Highly recommend you dine here. The staff are friendly, all food is fresh and labelled with allergens. 100% worth the cost and they have a great selection of desserts too.

Having arrived early we waited for the rest of the party to come. I booked 5 places 3 adults and 2 children 1 aged 8 and the other 10. Couldn’t fault the meal a great selection and plenty of it . The restaurant was very busy but the service was still good. When I came to pay however I was charged for 5 adults and 1 child . Firstly I booked for 5 not 6 and then they said the 10 year old was too tall . I didn’t notice any body with a tape measure but isn’t that tall , it’s a good job she wasn’t in a wheelchair! I did get my money back for the extra person after 2 days but still got charged for the 10 year old as an adult. I will be back but will be making sure before I sit down to double check my booking.
